This paper can not be printed with sublimation ink. The ink will fade. This paper is designed for regular inkjet ink

I noticed that you put the paper on top to protect your press, but does the shirt need paper inside of it so that the dye doesn’t bleed through to the back of the shirt or the base plate?? I’m new and don’t want to hurt my machine.

Yes, put a piece of parchment, butcher, or non-stick craft inside the shirt so it doesn't bleed through to the back of the shirt.

Also people who are really into sublimating should already know there's NO WHITE in sublimation && you CAN'T ... I Repeat CAN'T sublimate on Black ... but not everyone does their homework🤷♀️

New subscriber to your channel and a new crafter! Where did you find your image (Mario Bros file)? Also, I just purchased Epson F 170, when this ink runs low are you able to switch to another brand? These inks are a bit pricer than some of the recommended ones I see KZbinrs suggest.

great video! the info you shared is so appreciated as I am just about to get into sublimation...do you re-use your parchment paper, and if so, how many times can you re-use? I bought the exact same heat press that you have and it's just been taken out of the box, haven't used it yet...seeing this model heat press in action is a bonus...thank you for your time and sharing your knowledge! by the way, have you used 95% polyester 5% spandex shirts at all, and if so, what is your experience with them vs the 100% polyester? thanks again!

Thanks for watching and the feedback. I really appreciate it. I typically don't reuse parchment paper because the sublimation ink sometimes bleeds onto it. I've had my heat press for over two years. It's a work horse! I have not sublimated on 95% polyester and 5% spandex. I'm not sure how well the spandex will hold the ink. Honestly, if I sublimate on shirts, it's going to be on 100% polyester white or grey. The image shows up the best.

The G420 has more of a cotton like look and feel to it. The G460 is more dri-fit and shiny.

Ok I have the sublimation paper and I have the sublimation spray I would spray the spray the spray onto the shirt let it dry then put my image on the shirt then press it not even the image 😭😭 go on the shirt

@Dexter Duncombe are you pressing on cotton? If so, don't waste your time. Sublimation on cotton doesn't work well, regardless if you have sprays or powders. Cotton doesn't hold sublimation ink. If you're using 100% polyester, you don't need any sprays.

I have been buying Jerzees, and my customers love them. If you're on the smaller size, size down. They're Unisex so women should always size down unless they like a baggy shirt. They sublimate well, and I use A-Sub 125.
