Crazy how rennala's spells do dummy poise damage but when you use spells only carian kids spells do real poise damage besides the haima spells. Most spells do less than 8 poise damage. At this point I just want them to take int out the game since its clearly not loved. Nothing is weak to int and most int buffs have a debuff thats twice as bad. Who tf wants to sacrifice hp, defense, or stamina for a few levels of mind while I can get uber points in dex and strength for the loss of a little focus. Only a handful of casting animations and you can't even hold spells or run and swing the magic blades except the small sword which is good but why give me other swords if I cant actually use the spell like its ab actual sword. Glintblades can be formed to hover around me but I cant hold a magical greatsword without having to constantly recast tho. Speaking of casting why are the sigils and color of the spell there just telegraphing the fuck out of the incoming spell. Why is there no int/faith int/arcane scaling but we have useless as quality scaling that barely makes a difference in attack power? No matter the souls game the intelligence is ass. Why is casting speed tied to dexterity and not mind. It'd be way more stat efficient for pute casters. If youre only investing for buffs and ashes naturally you wouldnt need great casting speed because you wouldnt invest heavy into mind but a pure caster would but no in classic miyazaki fashion we get a talisman that does like 30-40% more damage as if we're not already squishy from having a lack of strength and endurance investment 🤦🏻‍♂️ just fucking why fromsoft ???? Who tf thought dexterity was the ideal stat for casting speed?!?!?!
