Dental Micro Brushes would work great for precise application! Buy off Amazn. Is that just red vinyl pinstripe or painted? Now all you have to do is paint the louver spears red or use red car wrap for the lovers openings themselves & leave spears black. And Then: paint the inner wheel vents & centers paint red too!!!!! LoL🤔 Or, wrap the wheels silver parts in black car wrap & paint or pinstripe the vanes red or the inner vane buckets red!🤔 Lots'a possibilities!😁 I think a black wheels with red inner vanes would look sharp!

@@kussstuff Your car is definitely Awsome! If I can ever get my health back (2 heart attacks by 50 & tons of other stuff) I'd wrap my white Vette in black & do the same exact red accents you did!!!!! I'm in S. FL. so black will be hot 🔥but look HOT 🔥! Just saw a black C7 the other day with black wheels & a single Red stripe on the outter wheel lip & red calipers. That's a combo you should consider! Unfortunately, my 87' has been in storage facility for 24yrs....😢😢😢😢😢, so many life & health problems & I can only dream about this Vette & enjoying it some day which was originally my grandfathers. Only 19k miles, but it's going to be major ordeal just to get it safely started again & up & running. ✌. 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁

I have owned around 30 Corvettes in my life time. Back in 1984 I bought a C 4 automatic all black corvette.I loved everything about the car, but I ended up selling it after 8 months ownership.The car was soo slow I would get beat by almost everything,I just couldn't take it.

I like the electric seats. While I agree about there being one driver, I some times will move my seat while driving to change the angle of my back and legs. So for that reason I think electric seats are a luxury.

Thank you for doing this . . . I love my '89 C-4, smiles per mile never quit. IMHO it's the best performing, TRUE 2-seat production sports car you can still find for under 10-grand. I consider my 44K mile metallic red beauty a steal for the $8500 I paid for it 3 years ago... The prices are going up, so get one while they are still available & affordable!

I still roll a 96 LT4 even though I have a 13 GS. I thought I would sell it, but can't seem to make the move . Lol. They are a lot of fun to drive. Mine really handles well and gets 26mpg.

Hit the nail on the head…I was just saying to Retro Cars Forever the other day that the hardest part about reviewing the C4 is trying to capture what it’s like to drive one. It’s like an F16 on the road! When you climb in it’s like you become a part of it, the experience is simply unlike any other car I have ever driven. Great video!

On the 94 model there is no switch for the hatch on the passenger side. Just on the driver side and center console. I believe on all models there is a mechanical cable you pull to release in case your electric system doesn’t work

Well that's a surprise. no button passenger side, you would think they would all be the same thanks for the info. Your right they all do have a mechanical release cable and sometimes the cable is hard to fine, probably a good idea to check it out before you need it. Thanks for watching

I 100% agree. An acrylic Targa top is the ultimate car roof, No crossbar! I like it out, I enjoy it in(being able to see the stars at night)…I do recommend having the passenger help…makes removing and spinning 180 degrees and landing in the storage bracket zero effort. Great video!

Cool vid and a totally kewl and rad 'Vette! Love taking the top off our '89 C4, "LORVET the Corvette", when it's not SO hot in The Valley of the Sunstroke, aka, Phoenix! I work the bolts from the inside and lay back across the center glove box to get the "drinker side" bolts without putting too much pressure on the center box (I find that works best as far as a "speedy" removal). Pro-tip, because of the C4's lack of body rigidity, make sure the car is on a flat, even surface when replacing the roof as otherwise, you're in for an undue struggle (ask me how I know). :) Also, I highly suggest getting a rear hatch extender which can be had on E-Bay, Top Flight Automotive and other such sites. The extender makes the top down experience significantly more enjoyable IMHO as it allows the air (wind) to vent out the back of the car instead of causing more drag and coming back around and buffeting your head and ears. Enjoy your vids Mike, so please keep up the good work, enjoy that sweet 'Vette and may King Jesus bless and keep you and yours!

Hey Michael I have been using these for years. Just added another Corvette to my collection, that makes 4 Corvettes now. ( 95, 96 and 64 ) I just got a 2007 Z51 3LT Atomic Orange one owner only 9k original miles unbelievably mint. Got it out of Georgia. Gonna put Borla exhaust and a cold air induction on it this week. Not sure if you’ll see this comment. But I crashed my mustang pretty recently and I’m looking for a new car. I found a great deal on a C4 with pretty low mileage and a targa top. I’m a single 18 year old guy who never needs to haul a lot of stuff. Would you recommend a C4 as a daily driver? I’m a huge car guy and I’ve got a real appreciation for the C3 and C4. The history is simply incredible.

The C4 can be daily drivers if you can find one with low miles and well maintained but you have to remember these are old cars and you have to be prepared to fix things when they go wrong and they will. A lot of mechanics aren’t willing to work on them so be prepared to do the work yourself. This is true with any 30- to 40-year-old car. They are not the safest car to drive, due to their age. This may sound a little negative, but they are a great car and fun cars to drive, Best of luck finding the best one that fits your needs.

I have a funny memory of my friend's C4 ZR1 back in the 90's. I had a car like that on piedestal and it was powerfull and sleek but the interior... My god that interior was crap. 😀I remember being surprised to this day by the sheer cheapness of every little bit. And I had a Škoda 120 at that time so tell me about benchmarks... 😀

well. i had me a lil C6 gran torino that was slightly modified. yeah, it was a bit heavy but you know. that thing could really hook up. unlike the c4's that couldn't grab anything without sittin n spinnin.

they are not super cars. It's Sportscar. And they lose a bit of value over time. C4 that holding value are 1992+ where after 94 most. So if you have pre lift version, you are losing much. But here is a thing, it is not a car its THE car. It will be with you for years and bring joy to you. Even if it will be worthless in coule months in EU it still is a fun car. Sportscars are fun. They are not super quick on straight line, they ar enot super comfortable or efficient. They are raw fun.

@@soulrippers5652 Not a matter of fact, a matter of opinion. I didn't say it was going to increase in value, I said I think it will gradually hold more of its value over time. Naturally, because it's a great car, it's a Corvette and in good, original condition, they will get rarer. My C4 is plenty quick, both in the bends and in a straight line. Many say it's not fast by modern standards, all I know is, I usually beat everyone else off the line, and I certainly don't need anything faster. The C4 is also comfortable, and you can typically get 25mpg on the highway, so that seems quite efficient for such a large V8.

They are ugly for them, they have terrible quality and you can buy in same price bmw, lexus or jaguar. I dont know how in USA, so for this market I cannot speak. But world is not just USA you know.. or you may not know.. nvm.
