Biggest issue with games like Wargmae and Warno. They spend no time on the campaign and the AI. AI will always zerg-rush you. You sadly never get the AI deploying defensive lines in the map or ambush sectors. So the game feels very lacking in that regard. It really hinders the ability of games in the longterm. The idea of playing the campaigns with actual strategies sounds great, yet I know I can sit in my base by the water and just let the ship destroy the inevitable rush coming towards me.

Do you have any tutorials or guides for totally new beginners? I find the official's short video format to be.. I don't know, it shows the topics but I don't get how stuff work together or what players usually do at the beginning. I'm so bad that I got murdered by a 0.75 AI...

Most vehicles cant be Airdropped outside of the ISV, Hummvee, and Artillery, large trucks can’t and we rely on Air-Land reinforcement.

As far as we know, the dev said that the campaings will have a "movie" style rather than "historical \ milsim" aspect like warno \ wargame

@@wolfpaw-yz9fk we'll see. So far, we actually have bits of infos about the campaign and PvE stuff in general. I think it will be a "scenario" thing, like "single missions prompted in sequence", because they talked about an editor that will work in that way some time ago.

I really hope the SP content in this game is good and replayable (and that you can play MP modes vs AI), as I'm not much of a RTS PVP guy. Looking forward to it as the beta was still really fun.

I really hope to see bots in MP myself as well, I know they had a "bot" in the demo but that's pre-determined of course, vs on the fly having to do stuff in a random MP map/game/session etc so - here's hoping!

The very first Beta way back in the day was single player ONLY so they do have AI implemented and I'm 70% sure they will add AI from the get-go. The other 30% is me thinking that maybe they messed up the AI while adding some other stuff.

GoH is great - the MGs we had were maybe the reason we got discovered early sadly, I think in hindsight we could've moved along that tree line on the left, but the red marked area you weren't supposed to touch - it would get German reinforcements to come in so we veered clear

Hope they decide to add direct control mode similar to how call to arms does it. For when you need a unit to do a complex critical task that you don't fully trust the AI to handle. The hybrid fps/rts thing has really been a big selling point for me and a lot of other people I know, and I always wished wargame had it, as it's slow paced and tactics focused enough to allow for a few seconds of direct control here and there.
