I can see where yo'ure coming from. I also think that when you're working for yourself, that's when you really need to be disciplined and block out distractions for a certain time. Think of it as THE time that's only meant to take yourself to the next level.

@kevfarr I disagree. A side by side comparison on all metric would be good. For someone who doesn't know what PowerPoint is capable of, maybe Gamma is a good tool to "play" with.

@@b326yr Fair enough. I was referring to the good old days of pasting in text slide by slide, formatting it to not go over the sides, ensuring there's not too much text crammed in a single slide, etc..

@@b326yr Can powerpoint build the presentation from scratch with a prompt? I haven't played with it in awhile but love how Gamma does so. You can't get as granular and it still only get's you 80% of the way there, but I just made and gave a presentation that a crowd of Marketers LOVED. Now I'm curious about what ppt can do.

If it's an established business and your bottleneck is lead generation? If you know your numbers and what % of people you can convert into paying customers, sure. Then it depends on what you mean by generate leads. Is it someone who's ready to buy / easy to close? Another question - are you paying the lead generator a % of closed leads/ for all the leads/something else? A lot of variables to consider. What do you think?

I think there'll always be a limit - just at some point, it will become irrelevant because it will be much more than what we need in terms of inputs.

I believe the limit is currently 50 and that seems more than sufficient for anything short of a Ph.D.

I agree with having multiple approaches that all work. Regarding editing afterwards - what's your current approach? Is it manual or using AI?

​ @kevfarr I write Christian novels and non-fiction so the editing has to be manual-AI is not anywhere near good enough yet, where I could count on it to correct its own errors or misunderstandings. Having said that, notebookLM produces amazing questions and answers providing the input has been thoroughly validated.

@@chrisneeds6125 Have you tried providing several inputs of what you consider to be good and bad data? I generally find this really helps to get to 90% of where I want it to be.

​ @kevfarr I've started using Raptor Write and am still getting used to the prompting, but yes, giving the AI a sample "target" does help (I am trying to get it write in Niall Williams style at the moment, for example) but it still gets things wrong and it doesn't understand the subtleties of language the way we humans do. For example: AI-It was sun down; human-The sun dropped silent below the horizon dragging a blanket of gloom over everything. The big plus with AI is no more writer's block. Even if I don't use the continuation ideas it presents, the ten or so it gives will help me quickly create one for myself.

You could definitely do that. Just for the sake of the video so it's not superrr long.

I’d be curious if you would get the same results doing the entire article, versus section by section. I often find I get much better results for something this long by chunking it out section by section. It’s obviously more manual, but the goal is the best result, not the fastest time. Sometimes.
