good video. some people say that rubber bushings flex more. I'm going with poly. for the durability. Did these shackles improve street driving? Thank you

Why do you have to do that. You should be able to just go to thr battery that's a whole lot of work for nothing

Thank you for an excellent video for repairing a Jeep Tub. The saving of an old Jeep is a beautiful thing. It is nice to see someone that is challenged by welding like me. A big help, Carry On Sir!

could you actually run an impact gun or hose to air up the tires while idling?

Nice video, I just ordered a set of these for the front and a set for the rear on my 95YJ and I also got the greaseable main eye bushings too! Plus I’m replacing my SOA worn out springs with four RE 1445s.

My guess is you will regret installing an internal clutch slave cylinder, as they are far from bullet proof. Most Jeep guys prefer the external as easy to change if they leak. Unlike the internal type which needs transmission pulling again to access it.

This might seem like a dumb question but can I weld a truss on my rear axle while it’s still on my jeep?
@frutosk
@frutosk 2 жыл бұрын
You could. Just disconnect the battery

For my AX-15 bellhousing to transmission bolts I torqued to 28 ft-lbs in a cross cross pattern using several passes to get to final torque

Hey man, can you explain a bit about the side hip bolsters, are they soft or hard at all? Reason I ask is because I tested some Mastercraft reclining seats, and the side hip bolsters were a vit hard, almost like there was a tube under the upholstery. I could tell getting in/out would have been annoying. Hopefully these have a soft hip bolsters because they are so awesome looking. Peace !!

What size fuse did you run?
@justflippinit
@justflippinit 4 жыл бұрын
Chad Watkins I did 15 amp, because that’s what I had. But if you do too big of one (like 20) then if there is a short then it won’t break the fuse and you ruin either your lights or the box itself
