Moza R21 Wheel Base and Foot Pedals would be a sweet addition to your setup for sure. I wouldn't go with Fanatec as the future is still to be untold.

I don’t feel like it does. CSL DD at 8 nm feels a lot more realistic than this wheel IMO.

It’s a good deal for a console wheel but If it’s in reach, I would say CSL DD if your gonna use on PC at all. I think it far out performs the T598 in upgrade ability and in the overall feel.

Great and short review, not like others that take 20 mins 🤦♂️ How would you compared this base vs a TGT II which works mostly with every title I tried on PS4. I’ve seen other KZbinrs compared to the TGT II and they don’t think is that superior. I get more cons than pros seeing reviews from these base. I don’t think it’s ready yet or maybe it is what it is. I’m assuming TM will come up with a new base only with a little more NM for console users. I definitely was expecting something close to the T818 but not this time. Cheers

I didn’t test the TGT but I did have the TSXW for quite some time which is basically the Xbox equivalent and I still think that base was really good for being belt driven. The TGT ll had a few improvements over TSXW if I remember correctly. I didn’t bring it up in the video because it’s been so long since I’ve used it but I think if I compared it to the T598 now I would still like the TSXW better.

what about the new GT7 update 1.54? Is the T598 now fully supported or do you still have to select the other Thrustmaster wheel in the GT7 menu?

I would recommend using tennis grip tape on the rubber parts of the wheel to improve overall grip and feel of the wheel.

It's def a step up for G29 and lower power TM wheel owners and sure it will be a massive success despite its faults . Apparently they''ll be selling the base on it's own with an adapter as many will have a couple of ŦM wheels and T-CLM pedals

My left monitor is at a 130 degree angle and my right is probably closer to 145 but that’s a rough estimate. I didn’t measure the right, I moved it until it felt right in combination with the screen adjustments I was making.

@@sieverspam I’ve personally never used 1000r on a sim rig but I feel like that would be too much curve. I could be wrong though. The flat IPS usually has better side view angles so you would have more option for screen angle. If I were deciding between the two, flat would be my go to.

1500R is perfect curve, i have driven with 1000R (curvature too big in my opinion) and flats, btw just get VA as IPS in dark driving will not look good. This guy definetly do not know what talk about, regular youtuber... not expert! So just get like KTC 32" H32S17 -1440p very good VA panel! My asus pg279q side by side looked way worse than H32S17

@@amigoz3201 To clarify, 1500R was not an option for the monitors he is wants to choose between and If you watch the video, I am using 1500r. My point was that given the option between flat and 1000r, I would go flat. Also both VA and IPS have drawbacks. Blur, ghosting and viewing angles are all down sides of VA.

@@dgachavez I also use OBS and am capped at 1080. If your grainy then you likely have too little lighting in the cockpit or have OBS bit rate too low. For the whole room it’s probably around 14k. For the sim rig, all in, it’s probably about 6K right now. The next round of upgrades will probably push it close to 10k. I haven’t done an updated cost video in a while so I’ll add that to my list.

I use just a vr and logitech setup and still have fun. I have a pretty decent pc and it is a lot more demanding to run than i thought.
