Let's not forget that the more times your battery wears out every couple of years experience lowered voltage, the alternator is having to work harder to compensate before you finally get a new batter. For every 10 years of swapping out 3 lead acid batteries you can toss in replacing an alternator on top as well. Now which one is REALLY cheaper. ?

Thanks for your video, it motivated me. I did the same, removed the transfer case on my 2013 Santa fe 2.0T sport AWD. Note that I also disconnected the plug at the rear transfer case. I've had no issue, I'm at 1200kms, It's running well as a FWD. Steering a little lite but fine, I'm not sure it has something to do with this. No engine or other lights on but the all wheel drive on. No code generated.

Updating to a short shifter and conceptZ shifting bracket helped a lot for shifting and also the gear oil. I need to update my shifting cable still. It shifts a lot better now, but I know it could be better.
