They are just stands that you plop your mini bases on with some sticky tack so you can hold them while paining. You could also just glue a magnet to the top and another to the underside of the mini base and do it that way. Like this guy on Reddit using champagne corks. www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fpd6g3nnpx6l61.jpg

@shankarpariyar7333 Search Amazon for "Chainsaw toy." There's a ton of these. Also, the "moving chain" is made of a very soft, flexible rubber. It moves, but is not dangerous in any way unless you decide to eat it for some reason?

@MrVoidbringer2002 Thanks! I'm putting a few Easter eggs in it as well. Check out the lighting if you get a chance. As always, I'm open to any questions you have about how I made it.
I imagine it's nice to have a space to work and create in, I've been panning my head in for almost 5 years trying to do some kit-bashing but am never afforded space to work. 2 days ago, after yet another little project I was working on got crushed, I took all my bits and hobby things and threw them in the bin. I gave up, I'll just watch other people make things and be miserable.
@bots2beasts3 ай бұрын
@scottjondansteve9343 Funny you should say that. This is actually just my home office (writing desk). I usually work in my garage, but the weather has cooled down so I will be relocating there again soon. This space is WAY too small for me. My garage work.area is massive by comparison.
@scottjondansteve93433 ай бұрын
@@bots2beasts The space you have is still far more than has ever been afforded to me. I have no garage anymore since we moved, there would be space if members of the household would respect I have asked for a certain space to not be a dumping ground (like the rest of the house) and not to put anything down on my "models". 5 years of repeated asking, pleading, shouting, apologising for shouting, agreeing they will keep an area for me to work- lasts a day or so then the cycle repeats (it's about a 10 month cycle). Well that was until the other day, where i find my cool little robot crushed underneath a bag that was full of wife's random crap that had been packed up in a random Lidl bag instead of being sorted though and put away/disposed of like any normal person would. along with jackets, random boxes and other sh*t on my workspace. I removed every part of model making anything from the house and chucked it in the bin, I'm done. New project- Find a flat and move out, I'm sick of the disrespect. Thanks for reading, love your models, New sub here!

@scottjondansteve9343 I used to carry an aluminum cigar tube that had everything I needed to sculpt a 28mm miniature. Not that you're asking for my advice, but it's all about consolidation and efficiency. I generally try to work with as little as possible to limit how much tools, materials and space I need. Some projects just call for me to throw that out the window, but learning to work with what you've got develops your ingenuity and creativity.
@scottjondansteve93433 ай бұрын
@@bots2beasts That's the thing, bud. I wasn't taking up much space at all, I've scaled back and down sized my once grand plans so many times. I'm done, it's not meant to be. Bins get collected today anyway, everything is gone. I'll enjoy going back and watching your videos.

UPDATE: My polisher/grinder fails to charge and the Drill doesn't power on unless I pull the charging cable in. GOOD NEEWS though. I contacted their Warranty Team and they are sending me two new ones! I will update on how long they last and any other issues I run into.

UPDATE: I reached out to the company and provided all my purchase information for both devices.( I bought them February of this year.) They actually contacted me within 24 hours. I am now receiving TWO replacements. I will withhold my next review until I receive them and oy to state the reaction of the company. I will provide a follow-up review if they have managed to last a full year... in 2025. We will see if they can redeem themselves. I recommend to anyone who has purchased these to try to submit their information to their warranty process and then submit a repair/replacement reauest.

UPDATE: DO NOT BUY THESE DEVICES!!! Since this video, the grinder stopped functioning. It will not charge. The drill still works, but it will not power on unless I plug a power cable into it and remove it again (ludicrous). I have removed the links until I hear back from AM-Arrowmax, but I do not believe this company will reach out to me or any of its customers. I do not recommend you purchase anything from this company.

Mine stopped charging after couple of months. I only used it twice. The seller is a scammer and ignores my messages. I’m not the only one with this problem. Apparently he didn’t bother himself to upgrade the engraver and still sells the ones that only last a few months max.
@bots2beasts4 ай бұрын
Yeah, I've noticed on the Drill specifically, it charges fine, but it does this weird thing where I can't get it to turn on unless I plug it in and then pull the cord out. Not sure if that is a thing. Try it and see if it works. I though mine wasn't charging either and then I figured that out. Its the weirdest thing. I will need to go back to the instructions and their support site to figure it out. The grinder, is a different story, but, as I suspected, if you don't have the correct charging cable and base then you are SOL. So I can never ever lose it or damage it. There are a few things I didn't like, and a few I did. Its a toss up. I am hoping I can find another brand or they will improve the design of these. I like the idea and the look, but a few things in the execution are lacking.
@bots2beasts3 ай бұрын
My engraver did the same thing. I am pretty upset right now. I have also been reading and viewing reviews (mostly negative). Wish I knew before I spent all that $$$. I'll be bashing these in another video soon. No time at the moment.

Can the text on the blade part be removed?
@bots2beasts4 ай бұрын
@SNOW-mt3yt I will say that anything is possible within the limitations of what you are willing to do to accomplish it. That said, it's just painted or printed s on the plastic. I'm using mine for a project so I don't mine sanding mine off because I will be repainting it. You may want to try some kind of plastic safe paint remover or just rubbing it with a sponge and warm soap and water. Just be careful of the electronics which are all in the red part of this thing.

@bots2beasts5 ай бұрын
@wantanamera Not 100 percent sure, but my first guess would be yes. Whether or not it can go through glass has more to do with the bit ( or tip) that is used, but at a high RPM I bet it could. I would hedhe my bets on the grinder/etcher doing a job like that over the drill unit.

@jeffkraus1457 Good question. I'm going to assume you mean the removable light as that is the only thing that is powered. I couldn't honestly say. I don't use it too often, but it's nice to have as an option, and removing it is also a nice feature as it lessens the weight. It has certainly lasted me long enough to do any tasks I have performed (over a couple hours). If I had to guess, I'd estimate it to be at least 3+ hours? I can fully charge it turn it on and see when goes out and follow up?
