keep it if you are on a budget. but if you have lots of extra money, get a more beautiful bike that will make you more happy. im jobless, so my $2500 hornet 600 is good enough for me 😁

@ did you pay much and is it from back to front, what about break lines, most of my e34 m5 parts from bmw are not available any more, since i didn’t bother with them

@@AllTheGear-SomeIdea have you gone through the wiring? My Hall effect sensor was brittle and crumbled apart. Hopefully everything goes well! I’m doing the M-Unit swap as well!

@flacko_ccc yeah it’s in bits, every component I test is out of spec. I wanted to do the m unit but can’t comprehend it until I get it running right. I’ve just ordered a coil pack that looks very much like the BSK version but for a quarter of the price so will see if that helps. I also have two injectors that show open circuit yet still fire😂 so I am ordering injectors too

Hello, maybe you had a problem with the speedometer, that it shows the speed but does not show the mileage of the motorcycle?

I didn’t have that problem, I have seen the issue and it’s an internal fault with the speedometer.

hey bud quick question, do you know what the small plastic housing below the ignition is called? its the one at 7:54 in the video that has those little blue clips. the wiring in min into it has sheared so wanna find out how to fix it

That would be your ignition switch (under where the key goes) It will probably need the complete unit unless you can take it apart to just change the switch. Item 11 is the unit but you can also get a complete lock kit. shop.motogb.co.uk/parts-catalouge/fb-mondial/751/27010 Just found this on EBay. Sorry bud completely jumped the gun on that one yeah if you have a wiring diagram I believe they call it the main switch. Make sure the repair you do is water tight saves any problems later on

@@AllTheGear-SomeIdea I just took the casing apart using the middle clip and found the ground wire had come loose. Just soldered it back on and we're good to go again :D saves me buying a new one haha

I've finally got around to watching these and am so glad you got that Hyosung running again. I spent so long with that thing in pieces after one thing or another. Extra tidbit for you, the windshield was cut down after a car cut me up, I dodged them, hit a curb and went through the windshield. Had it in my uni workshop next day fixing it.

I am recommissioning my 1991 version of the ZZR600... It should be on the road by the weekend, also replaced the fork seals! They are a great classic 'sports tourer' , getting mine ready for a trip to Ireland. I had a 1990 as my first 'big bike' , so a bit of a nostalgia thing for me.

What do you mean swap to other ones? Do they need to be swapped to another spot? Thanks for your help I got the same fault code and symptoms so any help is appreciated greatly 👍

If you have any spare fuses that are mini 5Amp and I believe 7.5Amp just change them see if it helps we just used some others from the fuse box that are the same amp to test. The car was fine for about a month before having to do this again and change the fuse box but to get you out of a sticky situation it’s definitely worth trying. Hope this makes sense!

@@AllTheGear-SomeIdeaah thank you very much. You sold me on that repair as I believe that is a problem I am having. Also side note, I hear that they also changed the plastic the cap is made of to keep it from baking in the sun like the old one does. Mine are currently a very faded red color. 😊

Sounds like it’s going into a limp mode. Get the codes read and let us know what the codes are.

Once its pressed in, you should twist about 5/10 degrees, just means the metal gets stuck in the plastic a bit better.

Not plastic welding I have one that uses a tic tac to stitch it up and leaves metal instead of plastic material.

I have a 2018 fb mondial hipster and I need an injector. Are you sure none of the Aprilia injectors will fit? They look identical to me.

I’ve just dug out the injector yes the injectors are the same but the attachment that goes on the end is a different angle. Are you in the UK? Got one here attached to a cylinder head. If your local you can have it, if not pay postage and I’ll send it to you. It’s from a 2021 I believe
