Tapered from the yellow line towards the outer white line. It should be at 50-100 feet with no less than 6 cones for the tapered portion. You also need a buffer zone between the designated work zone and the flagger's position. The flagger's truck should be at a designated spot at the far end, opposite the flaggers position. We also put four cones around our parked trucks.

Iowa’s driver license renewal sucks I mean really sucks first of all you have to have an appointment which really sucks then you take a mug shot because you can’t show any teeth according to the woman taking the pictures anyway. So when I see other peoples drivers license from other states with a nice smile and they walk in and get it without an appointment I’m thinking how do we go so wrong?

This job is NO fun. Been doing it for 22 years. The worst part is the traffic that you have to deal with. Stay home if you don't have to be out and about, folks do dumb things around us with zero consideration for the work we are trying to do.

Respectfully, if someone can’t see and avoid a giant snow plow that’s fairly loud and bright orange. They need to be fined a few thousand dollars and their license suspended. People with the spacial awareness of a fucking potato shouldn’t be allowed on the road
