In this video I show the Ryobi cordless compressor and the HART cordless compressor running one of our metabo 15 gauge nailers. Pretty happy with both compressors to give us a little more mobility instead of having to swap out all of our pneumatic nailers with cordless nailers, which will be expensive. I know what many people will say, (but once cry once) but i like to buy smart and save money.

I used to buy Ryobi but now I buy Harbor freight tools. Gave a lot of Ryobi tools to my son but still have a few left with a couple batteries. I like my Bauer tools and bought Hercules tools on sale. They are great for the money. I only have a couple corded tools left. 20 volt tools is my favorite. Except for weedwackers I use 56 volt EGO, the power of gas but no hassle.

I hear you, they're all great, i use Ryobi, Bauer & Hercules, my wife uses hart and haven't had any issues outside of the hart oscillating tool which we kinda abused on a job 🤣🤫, my Ryobi oscillating tool is also on its way out from working it everyday, its probably my most used tool outside of drill and impact driver. But they're all great tools. Thanks for watching.

I have a bigger compressor for the framing nailers, but i want a little more mobility, so instead of trying to push the framing nailers with the Ryobi cordless compressor, ill just replace the framing nailers with cordless one's and just run the smaller nailers with the Ryobi cordless compressor.

Here I show a tiny 1 gallon compressor & a harbor freight banks 30° - 34° framing nailer. Will it work? How many shots will it take before the compressor kicks on to recover? I can tell you now, i like the compressor for what it is. For some small, lite framing, trim work, baseboards, interior door installation, crown molding installation etc, anything thats small and quick can easily get done with this compressor & any nailer.

In this video i show the $99 deal i grabbed at harbor freight & $99 for 2 5ah batteries. Im retiring my old brushed Ryobi drill that I've had for about 5 or 6 years now and some old corded drywall screw guns i have that still work but im swapping out to cordless tools

This video isn't to bash anyone, any tool brand or manufacturer. We like all tools & brands, I just think some tool brands are a little over priced. When I talk about pricing, I'm taking about everyday prices. I know on sale you can get great pricing for the bigger brands like Milwaukee. I want to show that harbor freight & Ryobi tools do the job, do the job well for the money & they last, at least for us because we don't totally abuse our tools because they were inexpensive. We use the right tool for the job at hand. We do use top tier bits for our inexpensive tools though, like Milwaukee, DeWalt bits & Diablo blades. Also, those blue Ryobi cordless tools you seen in the video, I got from my father in the early 2000's when I used to work in his company. On another note, I love watching tool reviewers and their torture tests, but those torture tests are not everyday situations. I hope you enjoyed the video & got something out of it.

Thats awesome, please let me know how it goes, the boards from the testing ive done seem to be very very good. Im very impressed with them. Im not surprised by the quality though as the Everbilt Shower System is an Ardex product, Ardex America is the manufacturer of the Everbilt Shower System. Everbilt shower system is the exact same as Ardex TLT Shower System.

You can go to Ardex Americas website, they have a full array of videos for installation, Everbilt shower system is the exact same as Ardex TLT shower system. Ardex actually makes the Everbilt Shower System. Im about to use the everbilt shower system on my next shower Reno, with the exception of the shower pan, the shower pan im ordering a custom pan from ardex because its a custom size. I will be uploading bits of the Reno when the time comes.

I should have used a ¼ inch V Notch trowel instead but here I show a test of using the Everbilt waterproof membrane and Ardex 8+9 as thinset to bond both pieces of membrane together with a piece of cardboard in between. we'll see if this works because thinset mortar is not waterproof.
@r.h.improvements6293
@r.h.improvements6293 Ай бұрын
i can say I was wrong about the rapid set adhesive sealant, as stated in a previous video, i didn't know if rapid set adhesive sealant would work with the Everbilt membrane. As you can see the rapid set no sag sealant failed the test between 2 Everbilt waterproof membranes, i probably didn't burn it in to the membrane enough but as of now , its a failure. I will be doing this same test again with the Everbilt adhesive sealant and i'll try the rapid set sealant again, but this time ill burn them both in first before putting the 2 membranes together. So for now if i decide to use this system, because i do know it works with the Everbilt adhesive sealant alone as proven in a previous video. Id just put it together with the sealant, then use the banding with thinset, then I'd waterproof the thinset with Ardex 8+9 till more testing can be done and confirmed that the waterproof banding will work with Everbilt adhesive sealant as i haven't tested the Everbilt adhesive sealant with the membrane yet.

Let me add that this system is pretty much Go-Board’s new twin competitor. What intrigues me is that this one actually is properly stocked with its materials, unlike Go-Board that has membrane that is like trying to find a UFO.

Thank you for the comment, I hear you on the goboard and availability, i made a phone call yesterday to Home Depot and they got me in contact with Everbilt and the manufacturer, its an Ardex product, its called Ardex TLT shower system. Henry company / Ardex Americas is the manufacturer.

I seen that this has hit home depot shelves. I would like to see a review on the membrane with a flood test. I bet it works like all the others and is about half the price. I would not use the sealant to put paper on paper however. Multi Max or All-Set.

@@r.h.improvements6293 True, which is why price and availability are really the only true deciding factors. Home depot having these items is a game changer because everyone has access to Home Depot and not necessarily Floor and Decor/Supply. How do you find the thickness? Same as Kerdi? Looking forward to a video where you make a shower using these items.

here i mocked up a corner and used the Everbilt adhesive sealant to bond the Everbilt seam banding instead of thinset mortar because thinset mortar is not waterproof. thinset mortar does soak up water.

in this video I show the test we're conducting with this wallboard from everbilt. im not sponsored by them or pushing this product for or to anyone, i just don't find videos on this product, so im showing the product and it capabilities (somewhat), because we haven't actually built a shower with the complete system. ive used some of the components in the past and have worked great.
@r.h.improvements6293
@r.h.improvements6293 Ай бұрын
i built a small 12½ x 7½ box and sealed it with its proprietary sealant. i would use the everbilt seam tape for extra waterproofing and extra support on each joint. on the Everbilt adhesive sealant in the directions it does say you can bond waterproofing membrane with it, so im going to assume the banding is included. obviously it would be the Everbilt membrane and banding. i wouldn't use it to bond a membrane though as it wouldn't be cost effective, to bond a membrane i would use thinset mortar.

i have found a promising product called the Everbilt Shower System from H.D. they have everything needed to build a shower, I've looked on KZbin and can't really find any KZbinr contractor thats used this system or spoken about this system, probably because they use the orange stuff & push the orange stuff, nothing wrong with that but for me, not really a fan of the orange stuff. im really liking this product & it looks promising, ias i stated in my video, im a contractor in my state and build my showers traditionally, with Hardie Backerboard w/ hydro defense & mortar beds. I don't use water in water out system, i use a sealed system so to speak. i put up my Hardie Backerboard, lay tar paper with mesh and drypack, then i use the everbilt waterproof membrane with everbilt corners and everbilt waterproof banding and seal it all up.

its basically a copy of the hittachi. even internals wise someone told me they used some of the hitachi parts to fix this one . i didnt buy one yet so i cant be positive but on a few places around the internet some are saying its essentially a clone of the 15g hitachi which is not new. i have a few airlocker guns which are identical and can use all the parts from the framing nailer from hitachi.
