This is exactly what I’m gonna do starting tomorrow. Did you build your own center council? How did you anchor the seat?

Man I love what you've done with the boat. Curious if you had to modify the aluminum fuel cell at all? Do you have a gas gauge or sending unit on the tank?

Great conversion on a legendary 13 footer. It makes the 13 a stand up fishing machine. I really applaud your ingenious engineering...fantastic use of the spaces. I often wonder why Whaler never offered a small center console on the factory 13.....always they stuck with the side console.

I've got a 97 Johnson 50hp on a 67 13 Whaler. its a bit too much but also can be fun. Turns out my lower unit gears shredded to pieces and do not have a clue how it happened. The problem started out with the boat not wanting to go forward with the engine revving up, but the reverse still worked somehow. Are old johnson's known for having lower unit problems? It also has not seen 35ish mph on the water in a long time lol.
