I been worried because I am not country at all and I don’t talk to people that much and none of my friends do it. Have any advice?

Congratulations! What kind of advice would you give to someone who wants to run for a state office position?
@MyFFAExperience
@MyFFAExperience Жыл бұрын
1). Put yourself in situations and events that give you stories to tell. These are great to come back to during the interview process 2). Do the contests and events that you enjoy, and not ones that you think will "give you a better chance to become a state officer". Being your authentic self truly is the most important thing during the process and year of service 3). Enjoy your time during FFA! It truly is what you make of it

hello! i was not expecting to come across your channel when searching something up! you probably dont remember me or when this happened, but i remember meeting you in january (i believe at gmc), i was a very awkward freshman from a chapter from closer to the city, so automatically felt like an outcast compared to the rural chapters yknow? but you were doing fist bumps and high fives with people before pictures of greenhands attending, you tried to give me a fist bump and i gave in after an awkward mental conversation with myself, then you pulled your hand back and faked me out with it and laughed a bit and was all like "haha got you". im not one for fist bumps and physical stuff, but this is already a big memory of mine for some reason! its funny looking back on it, but something as simple as that pushed me out of my comfort zone which was a step where id continue to push myself out more and take bigger steps. thank you for such a simple moment, but it really helped me realize," stepping out of an awkward bubble is much more fun and brings in more memories", so really, thank you! im a freshman going into my sophomore year as a chapter sentinel, i also competed in districts for ffa knowledge and scored 76, i really have put my all into being involved throughout the year. who knew that the motivational conference speakers werent the most motivational to me, but a simple action at the very beginning kicked me into play. so truly, thank you for something so simplistic and just something that came natural to you that you didnt even realize helped me, and most likely others. i'll likely never see you again in the future, but that little funny moment will definitely be a memory in my first year of a really fun thing i enjoy which is actively helping me grow as a person. i hope you have a good day!

Do you have any tips for someone who is just starting a blog S.A.E or any ideas for ways to grow it over time?
@MyFFAExperience
@MyFFAExperience Жыл бұрын
So if you want to grow a blog, my number one too is make sure you have a strong social media presence. This means instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc. These are going to be the number one drivers to your blog because they are easy to discover. These could be through post promoting your latest blog post, a short breakdown of your recent post into a reel/TikTok, or just funny relatable content that will drive people to it. I hope this helps and if you have more question please ask 😁

Hey man i’m a freshman and I’m doing the FFA creed competition any advice? I know it’s not a contest but still
@MyFFAExperience
@MyFFAExperience 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah definitely! 1. Any little bit of free time you have practice the creed. This could be in the shower, making breakfast, getting dressed, etc. 2. Memorize it one paragraph at a time. It makes it easier to break down. 3. Take notes on what you are going to be doing at each part of the speech. So maybe you want to walk to a part of the stage during paragraph 3, or you want to emphasize a specific line, whatever it is it helps to have this stuff down because repetition will make it easier to memorize and calm nerves you may have. I actually planned on posting a video about Creed Speaking either this week or next week. I’ll break these down in more detail whenever that video comes out.

Please I'm a Nigerian, from West Africa. How can I be a member of FFA. Part of my goal is becoming a member of FFA, establish a chapel in Nigeria, educate Nigeria youths on Smart Agriculture, and introducing Nigeria agroenterprenuer to FFA. Please how can I achieve all this. I own an agro-investment company and also an Agriculture Foundation too. Thanks

I love to hear all of your enthusiasm about the organization. Unfortunately though it is an exclusively a United States, and its territories, organization. Now there may be programs that FFA is involved with that I am unaware of, but this is about as far as my knowledge takes me. I absolutely love your enthusiasm though, and would love to help any way that I can, so I encourage you to reach out to me on one of my social media accounts, or if you don't have one, email me. All of those links should be in my channel about page.

Do you need to pay for this program? Can anyone join? Is there anyone important that has benefited from this program?
@MyFFAExperience
@MyFFAExperience 2 жыл бұрын
So every chapter is different, but there are normally annual dues from each member. My chapter dues are $20 and that helps cover any costs I would have throughout the year as well as my National Membership cost. Anyone that is 7th-12th grade can join FFA as long as their school has a chapter. If their school does not have one, then there is also the possibility of joining a surrounding schools chapter. There are also a lot of benefits that can be had from the organization. Along with learning more about agriculture, members also develop leadership skills, employment skills, and skills that can be used in every day life. I've even learned proper parliamentary procedure from being involved in the organization. There are also numerous well known people who have been involved such as former US President Jimmy Carter, musicians like Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw, and even athletes such as Bo Jackson and Josh Allen.

I just have a quick question: So, I’m a FFA Mom… my son just got into FFA this year (freshman) and he hasn’t really told me anything about what he’s doing in class… but, would fence building be a SAE Project? I owned a fence company and only stopped because I moved but if it would work as his SAE I’d allow him open it back up as his own!
