I don't know how many times I've watched this, since I went to their concert in 27th August 2024, I'm having a post-concert depression syndrome, then I discovered this documentary here. How struggled they are back then. I just love SUEDE, I hope they continue produce good music, like Autofiction it's a brilliant album.Tq for uploading this.

I know a place too, Petula. It was a time innocence, decency, and respect for other people. It’s not the America I grew up in. Hey Ma, look what they’ve done to my song. They paved paradise and put up a parking lot AND spoiled the kids. Oh, yes, I forgot one other thing that’s gone the way of the dodo bird: Good old fashioned Common Sense. Beam me up Scottie. There is no intelligent life down here.

I’ll never forget them playing EVERY DAY at Roskilde Festival when I was young - they “really speak to youth” and how EVERY TEEN are feeling in those years growing up and you see it in every comments from all of us teens back then who are all grown up now and how we all say that we are being taken back in time to when we were young when listening to their songs!!! Forever Suede Forever Young😉✨

One of Ms. Clark's finest recordings. Petula turns in a spirited lead vocal, and she and the backup dancers are conservatively attired in suits, ties and dresses!

I liked the odd suede song back in the 90s but never really 'got' them. Fast forward nearly 30 years, I watched Suede live for the first time (on tour with the Manics) in July. Long story short, they stole the show! I was completely blown away, what a fantastic live band and Brett, wow what a front man.

Petula Clark mesmerized me as a little kid in the 60’s whenever she was on tv….and 60 years later, nothing’s changed, she’s still one of a kind. (That being the case, the director should’ve moved Burgundy Jacket guy over to the side a little; he’s a distraction from the real talent here.) Love ya, Pet ❤
