One small correction though: the Torrent does not have a skinny pusher, it's very similar but still not one, the mag actually isn't meant to be inserted like that and I've seen it break other people's blasters But yeah, Nerf really disappointed this year with the Pro line

Reusing parts and designs isn't anything new, it's exceptionally common in manufacturing businesses. That's the whole point of modularity. It's something car manufacturers take to the extreme to save costs. If every blaster had a totally unique version of each attachment, there are no benefits from making things modular. As for the "missing" light, it's extra cost in parts, and added complexity increases production costs. It bumps up retail prices. In a global market, things have to be certified to meet varying international regulations, including lights and electronics. It might seem like Hasbro is being "cheap", but multiply the extra cost per unit by 100,000 units and it soon mounts up.

I totally understand the feeling of looking back at old videos and cringing lol. But it’s interesting to see nonetheless.
