How did you figure out which wheels would clear the brembos? I just did the swap and I am looking at wheel options.

Lots of phone calls, watching videos, and looking for specs. LMR does a good job of listing what wheels will not clear brembos.

@600wheel , how you been ? ,,, I know these injectors can clogg , but are they known to leak ? Running very rich and surging , fuel mileage is atrocious. There's a whole list of things I have eliminated . Just trying to decide whether to clean my injectors or replace them . Originals with 120 thou on them . Engine is untouched original in '91 Mark VII . It's definitely not the pressue or regulator , or leaking reg . I run a pressure gauge full time . Also check TPS parked and running with volt meter taped to windshield ,,, !

@phillip-cl8bkАй бұрын
verts might have there own grommet?
@phillip-cl8bkАй бұрын
87 88 is the only years for the 3 eyed T top cars, an they used convertable doors if that helps, if your car isnt a 87 or 88 someone installed the t tops them selfs, they is only like 800 3 eyed t top cars, i got a 87
@thefoxlife3431Ай бұрын
You might be on to something. It’s an original ‘87 T-top. I don’t know if verts were different as far as the harness holes/grommets go but the new grommets definitely didn’t specify it. They were just listed as ‘79-‘93 mustang. 🤷♂️
@phillip-cl8bkАй бұрын
@@thefoxlife3431 sometimes auto company will have parts remaining from a previous generation when switching to a newer model an they will use up whats left until its all gone to keep from wasting, an where 87 was a year of change then i bet alot of 79-86 stuff could be found in a 87, but i know for sure that ford used doors from convertables on the t top cars, i think because they dont have window frames, i had a 93 cobra with 60k miles on it, all factory nothing done, n my daily broke down on me one day so i drove my cobra to work that day n a coal truck hit me n killed the body, so i hunted a roller n found a entire car n at the time i didnt know they made 3 eyed cars with t tops, n it was a auto n my cobra was a stick, so i got it an swap all my cobra parts on to my t top fox, so now i got a t top cobra fox, BTW i love your car! an what youv done with it

I recently changed my FPR to a Z1 Motorsports FPR and am not gettting drain down issues with fuel. I do however see a slight decrease in pressure over time and it’s probably due to the junk aeromotive fuel pump. I had no issues with my walbro when I swapped it. I think it’s safe to say aeromotive makes junk parts. The Z1 FPR has exactly the same ports as the aeromotive but actually holds pressure and was confirmed by their engineering team via email. It is sold as a 350z 370z regulator but would drop right in for those of you having issues with aeromotive junk. Never again.
