That's so very cool! I've gotten to work with a handful of my favorite actors over the years, but none that go way back to the silent era... and who worked with both the Our Gang AND Laurel and Hardy! Love all the Easter eggs in your film, too.

This is fantastic! VERY funny! Jean Darling is great in it, but so is everybody else! I laughed from beginning to end! I am so happy she got to do this, THANK YOU Mr. Riva, for giving her the opportunity to have some fun in front of the camera again (which, it looks like, she is definitely having, along with you and everybody else!). I know it was years ago you made this, and now Ms. Darling is gone.....but the work remains! And I enjoyed it very, very much. Thank you for sharing it with all of us. :)

This is cool. I really dig old-school actors who stay current and keep working, like Carla Laemmle did. I always wonder if they get a kick out of working with young people several generations removed but still interested in working wit them and in their genres. I only wish the producers would work harder to emulate the lighting styles of the silent era if they're going to replicate the aesthetic.

+Theomite Thank you very much. Regarding the lighting; we had absolutely nothing to work with. If you want to know how this film came about contact me through Facebook.

I don't use Facebook. BUT, given your admission, I am now FASCINATED with the story of how you managed to get a silent veteran to be in the film, especially the transportation issue (unless you shot in Europe where she lived).

I just enjoy the silent movie genre, especially if the film has been made in the last few years, like "Beyond Babylon" and "The Artist". Kudos to Jean Darling and Rene Riva for putting out this fun film!

Oops! I meant Return to Babylon, the haunted movie.
