New super mario bros is a series, kind of like super mario advance Nsmb is the first game, nsmb wii is a spiritual succesor, nsmbu is the sequel to nsmb wii, nsmb 2 is the direct sequel to nsmb, nsmbudx is a remaster

@@Darius-wm3pv well for one. the level designs tend to feel flat. Most are creative and fun while others just feel like they were only built around the coin mechanic. most levels have themes that dont even match the world theyre in. the bosses are too simple and the game barely has world themes. ill explain the rest later

They are just saying that it is a revamped version of the "Super Mario Bros" game series. Not really "New" as in "it just came out" you're just thinking about in the wrong way haha. Here are some definitions of the word "New" "of dissimilar origin and usually of superior quality" "different from one of the same category that has existed previously" "being other than the former or old" See?

I’ve played mario kart wii more than mk8 (for now) but I’ll have to disagree. Mk8 simply controls and plays better. It took them until that game to finally figure out good controls. Not to mention mk wii is very unbalanced
