😮💨This is a masterpiece… and so deep. The acting is impeccable! And I do have favorite scenes (one is the perspective of when the woman began getting clothed and was talking in the background to Demetri while He continued rapping facing the audience-theatrical genius) but overall I love how well the scenes truly embody the lyrics and energy of the song 💘

New sub. Appreciate your review sLim. Just picked up a FX3 and looking for a good monitor/recorder. Although a little pricey, I think I’m gonna pull the trigger on the Shogun Ultra. 🫡

Most people run their units until the battery dies, but you need to recharge them right after using ( when they are cool). If they stay too long under the 3.7v, it's difficult to revive them.
@showtimestreamstudios74376 күн бұрын
Sony NPF batteries are built with 2, 4 or 6 18650 Li-ion batteries which are 3.7v each. They are wired in parallel or series to achieve the required voltage and mah. If even one of the batteries go below 3.7v for a period of time without being recharged the entire pack will not be able to hold the charge for long.

Damn, for someone who’s still learning English, you speak so fast! 😆 No, seriously, I understand what you’re saying, but as someone who has owned the FX3 and FX6 for three years and recently tested the S5IIX, I get why people are so hyped about it. The image quality is amazing for the price, even better than my FX3/FX6 (better highlight rolloff, more dynamic range, better details/textures, feel simply more organic..), and the IBIS is exceptional! But yes, I agree about the 50/60p crop - I found it a bit annoying too. Other than that, if I had to choose again, I would’ve gone with the S5IIX.

It seems like bloggers completely don't understand the goal of raw video. They just compare outcomes while the main advantage lays in flexibility on post. Why noone shows how much more one can recover from shadows and highlights? How much one can push colors, and which codec has better ISO management. I see dozens of comparisons but they just show raw converted to Rec 709 without any adjustments. Put 2 codecs side by side, push both with adjustments and show the results. This is how it should be. It is like a conspiracy not to show real difference. Anyone, tell please to bloggers that the difference lays in editing, not in converting to 709 and posting on YT

Great video as always. Could you please let me know which first light can I get for outdoor/indoor interview setups and other needs? I have a budget constraint and just trying to get my first light? Which one would you recommend? I can stretch my budget upto 250-300 USD
@Brookssmedia4 ай бұрын
So I would say a godox vl150 and use the shower curtain technique to maximize your output for these very bright backlit days. With the cone it doubles your output basically making it closer to a 300 w light
@Shalin.S.Shah.4 ай бұрын
@@Brookssmedia thanks for recommendation. Is that going to allow me to have somewhat close to perfect window exposure with 40-55 IRE skin? Also, do you believe it would allow me to expose for skin while on midday or high sun? I am not expecting a magic othetwise 1200w lights wouldnt exist, I just want to know if its going to give me acceptable image considering my clients if any will not be educated about lighting and as picky.
@Brookssmedia4 ай бұрын
So I mean that really depends on a lot of things. For most interview set ups yes. However if you're filming something at like noon-2pm when the sun is really out and it's brightest you may need something brighter. I say test it out in the brightest conditions and if doesn't work for you return it.

My man, getting those interviews. Gotta love it. I am taking notes! I just put a client short promo video up on my business channel. A fun bar event video. One thing is it seems every time I do run and gun on my A7SIII that IBIS is a pain and I get jarred video. I don’t get that on my FS5MII’s at all. I have tried manually setting the lens length and that still doesn’t seem to work. It is annoying.

RAW footage refers to unprocessed data straight from the camera’s sensor, providing greater flexibility in post-production compared to internal codecs. Essentially, you're capturing the full breadth of the image data, allowing you to adjust elements like white balance, exposure, and color grading in ways that aren't possible with compressed formats. This is particularly advantageous for those who prioritize precision in their post-processing workflow. For instance, with ProRes RAW, the footage retains much of the original sensor data, which can be vital when shooting in fast-paced environments where there's no time to perfectly adjust settings like white balance or exposure on the fly. The flexibility in post is where RAW shines, as it allows for significant corrections and enhancements that internal codecs, which are often compressed and processed in-camera, simply can’t offer. While applying LUTs might not reveal the full potential of RAW, those with a more refined post-production process will appreciate the vast differences in image quality and malleability. Choosing ProRes RAW over internal codecs in a camera like the A7S3 ensures that you maximize the dynamic range and maintain the highest possible image fidelity, which is crucial for those seeking the highest level of control over their footage.
