It's clear MyShadeSource is only in it for the original sale; there is no customer service. They don't think about the fact that their products eventually wear out, especially the chords and the umbrella canvas--within 2 - 3 years. So if you can't replace the canvas then all you're doing is adding pollution to the earth, as once the umbrella canvas is tearing from the heat of the sun, then the product can't be used at all. What is an umbrella without a canvas? You can't call MyShadeSource, the phone number doesn't work. If you reach them by email, you can see the notes from the person who posted before my post, that they don't care. Don't buy anything from companies that aren't in it for the long haul, i.e. after the original sale for consumers' customer service, and that goes for anything you buy, even a vehicle! These kinds of companies are only in it for themselves, and show having no integrity. Sales is so much more than just making a product and selling it. If you can't be there for the customer after the original sale, then you have no real relationship with the customer, and are only in it for the money, which shows no integrity that you stand behind what you sell. Stop buying from sellers who once you buy from them, they ghost you! Think about it. If they really believed in what they were selling, they would still be there after the sale to support you, the customer, and stand-by their product to reinforce whatever is needed and they would devise a way to regenerate the products and/or services, instead of not caring about sustainability. Support companies that show they have a sustainability stance.

This has to be the worst product video I have ever seen in my life. Not only is there no sound, the instructions are poor, the play speed is too fast, and why in the world would you take all of pins out to replace just one arm? Unless you have to? I am going to show this to Lowes. This is not the kind of product they should be selling. .

My experience with these…people has been quite similar. Profoundly abysmal to say the least . It is inconceivable to me that a simple request for a simple part replacement can become such a tedious and unpleasant task. It started with the incompetent, unprofessional, and rude woman who answered the call who displayed an uninterested attitude and kept cutting me off during my attempted civil conversation regarding my issue. They would then take an unexplainable amount of time to answer texts. No one there displayed any amount of interest in actually talking to me in response to the woeful customer service attempt on their part. I will certainly make every effort to make my observations known in an many ways possible by way of consumer reviews and with the BBB.

The part that broke on m y umbrella was the rib holding the LED strip. Is this video for that rib or the shorter one that attaches to the LED rib. It cracked in half right at the screw. This video looks too complicated and the visuals are poor. I can't tell what is what.
