Charlotte is a very beautiful city. But the infrastructure needed to be thought about before all the apartment and townhouse building. The traffic is ridiculous now. And unaffordable to most living here now. It’s good for those coming from the northeast and west because their $’s go much further than those who have been here forever.

Hi Thomas Historically Troutman and the Lake Norman area get one or two light snow accumulations per year. In the last two years there has been no (zero) accumulation of snow in this area. Every 3-4 years we have gotten a 4-6 inch accumulation storm. These accumulations usually are gone in a day or two because it is fairly warm during the days. I hope this helps. I personally dislike trying to listen to a video with music playing while the person is speaking. It is very annoying and distracting, esp when the music is louder than the person's voice.

Heat and humidity is off and on. For instance today is in the low 80’s with no humidity and a nice breeze. Next week could be high 80’s with some humidity. It’s definitely not like Florida. Many people move here for the great weather. I think you are always going to have some hot and humid days but Charlotte is a great balance. I hope that helps.

After living in Huntersville the last 19 years, I agree that it is a wonderful place to live, raise kids and is very convenient to Charlotte and has plenty of shopping. Downside is definitely the traffic on both the highway and town since it is booming with new neighborhoods.
