How I found this band. Did a garage door job for your former drummer in Coon Rapids/Fridley Minnesota ,he gave me a CD and it stayed in the player for a month. Don't remember his name. Handwritten original CD.

Thank you for commenting! I think everyone should have more than 1 electric guitar and 1 of them should be an evertune. :) The difference are there but in general I do not think they lessen the emotional impact when it comes to rhythm guitars.

Tone differences are minimal, I have 3 evertune guitars and they stay in tune for weeks on end, no joke. Can't stand to play hard tail bridges anymore. Floyds are ok so long the temp doesn't change.

In general it has increased my productivity greatly in the studio. It's not right for every song - but most of the time it is great to have.

Evertune makes the tone soft spongy and dark that's the opposite of the tone I'm after. The internal springs are a suspension system that absorb vibrations. An expensive way to get to Tone Suck city. I'll be going back to hard tails from now on.

I find my self using it often out of convenience in the studio. If anything it is a good reference track for intonation. That being said I have some tracks that I have re-recorded with a hard tail. Reason why is the hard tail will have more emotional impact -- I think because of the sound of guitar intonation verses pitch perfect evertune.... (Depends on style etc)

A floyd rose bridge would do the exact same thing since it is not fixed and depends on the tension of the other strings vibrating.

@@MichaelDespairs in my opinion, just dont use a tremolo. So much effort to change strings just so you can do a gimmicky vibrato sound and rarely use it.

The tone difference sounds so minimal to me I can hardly notice it......and if there is a difference playing in person, that's what your eq's on your amp are for. Sounds like evertunes' are a good investment to me.

Thanks for the comparison. I noticed a change of velocity in the note. Without, more percussive in the lows, brighter in the highs. With evertune, reminds me of a semi-hollow. Rounder sound. Less transient.

Glad it was helpful! I do not notice a change in tone. The only difference I can sometimes notice is that my evertune will intonate more like a piano on certain chords. ( Which can be good or bad ) Also depending on how the evertune is set up on a non evertune guitar a note will generally go sharp depending on how hard it is struck. Which is another plus or negative depending on the song style etc.
