A windshield makes a huge difference in rider comfort, especially on bikes that are ridden upright rather than crouched over. Good choice.
@joeldude13 күн бұрын
Thanks dude, the madstad windshield allows airflow both above and below the windshield, the air is very mellow when it hits the top of my helmet, other windshields just don't seem to do that, but you're right, you need a really good windshield when you're sitting in the cruiser position, now to figure out how to ride for days on end with my feet in that position, not crouched over that is haha😊
@Islandpickini11 күн бұрын
How do you like it? Would it be easy to travel with?
@joeldude111 күн бұрын
Well it is certainly very very tall almost 6 ft long and would be somewhat difficult to travel with, it is a little heavy and you have to balance it, it is doable but I would not call this a portable electric piano in any way, it is a lot of fun and I like this piano a lot but it is now been traded for a different model.....😊

I remember our hs Jazz band attempting this. We struggled with it as I recal. We didn't quite have the horses in the trumpet section. I'd like to hear the Big Phat Jazz Band do this. Sounds like this band struggled with it too.

a challenging piece to play...a bit more mature than high school age is required. In our 1976 interpretation, that electric guitar was super extra loud causing the audience to awe :_)! Guitar player had a ego and was not a jazzer but integrated fairly well.

Hi, could you tell me about you experience with the "quiet ride helmet" ? Is there really much less noise inside the helmet ? What model did you buy and how is the overal quality ? Thanks and ride safe.
@joeldude14 жыл бұрын
Hi Steven, I can tell you that I have going out of my way to test the quiet ride helmet and have used it successfully for a couple of years now. when you pump up the bladder inside it pushes the covering over your ears and it sounds equal to having earplugs in except you can hear outside noises. It's really a wonderful helmet in a great idea and after you sent me this comment I called Al, the guy who owns the company and invented the product. Right now he only has extra large in stock or he has Motocross every size, motocross has no face shield. He is teaming up with major helmet manufacturer to put his technology in the helmet along with noise cancellation. He's been working on it for quite a while and nothing is happening right now so if you're not an extra large size, maybe you can go with the Motocross model because it really works and knocks the sound out. In the meantime, you can reach out by contacting quiet ride and Al will answer the phone and you can speak to him and ask him about timings, it may be another year before he gets production going but it was a good run while it lasted. No other helmet has a bladder that you pump up and puts a cup over your ears in order to block the sound, no other helmet works so well. And I look forward to all coming up the latest model with noise reduction which would bring the decibels down below 50, normal decibels are close to 100, quiet ride brings them below 70, and with noise reduction it could come down to 50... And that's very quiet - hope that helps 😉
@Steven-sx4nc4 жыл бұрын
@@joeldude1 Hi again. Thanks for your answer. I have also contacted Al. He told me he was busy with his new project: Active noise cancelling and is integrating this system in to his new generation helmets.Those helmets will be ready within a year. Bottemline: I just might order the passive noise cancelling system and try to integrate it in my current helmet.

You saw that, yes! I didn't know what it would look like until after the ride. I wasn't able to use the Sena camera app. which lets you see a live view of your camera, it just plain old wasn't working with my Pixel 3 phone but worked immediately on my old Samsung S7. I've made the adjustment since then to not only point upward more but also to not include so much of the helmet in the shot, but it was a fun day anyway learning how to use the 10-seat Evo 👍😉
