Uh, watched this video several times.... but I never saw where to get the Hardened Leather recipe. I see it as loot but that's it.

You craft it at the hunter. It didn't show up for me right away either. Had to restart the game a few times.

You don't seem to be able to craft things until you have picked them up from somewhere first, then the NPC's can craft the items.
