Total shit lens. I just had about 60% of my recent wedding shoot end up out of focus. Tamron really f'ed me on this one. Mine is the latest firmware update too. Turning off and on the camera does fix the issue but during a wedding, you dont always get the opportunity to shut off the camera. Last time I will use the lens. Sticking with my sony lenses from now on.

No queríamos imágenes típicas. El Casco Viejo es bonito, pero como muchos otros. Las estaciones de metro son únicas. Pero bueno, cuestión de gustos!

Hi I just came across your channel and found that you've reported some issues with the Tamron 28-75 f2.8 lens, So the scenario with me is, I use the same lens paired to a Sony A7iii and both the camera and lens are on their latest firmware. The issue I'm facing with the lens is, I'm having forward focussing between 50mm to 75mm. No matter which AF mode I use, it misses the focus by a few centimetres. But if I focus it manually, its pin sharp. I just wanted to know if its a known issue or do I just have to live with it. A few users of the lens have reported it, but there isn't a defnitive solution yet

En el segundo 11 no aparece Bilbao. Entre el segundo 35 y el 55 tampoco aparece Bilbao. Entre el minuto 2:09 y el 2:11 tampoco aparece Bilbao. La Ikurriña que aparece al final del vídeo, se parece mucho a la Ikurriña que aparece entre el minuto 2:09 y el 2:11.

Es verdad que no son el municipio de Bilbao sino su área metropolitana. Al igual que la feria de muestras situada en Barakaldo se llama Bilbao Exhibition Centre, o el aeropuerto situado en Loiu es el aeropuerto de Bilbao, o el Puerto situado en Santurtzi es el puerto de Bilbao, o el Metro de Bilbao llega hasta Plentzia. Son otros municipios, totalmente de acuerdo. Nuestra idea era mostrar el Bilbao metropolitano.

@@texelnet Área metropolitana? Entonces te has dejado Gernika, las Encartaciones, el Durangesado, Urdaibai y Costa... La Feria de Muestras como sabrás, antiguamente estaba ubicada en parte de los Terrenos que hoy en día ocupa el Estadio de Fútbol Nuevo San Mames, se les cedieron parte de los terrenos que ocupaba la Antigua AHV (Altos Hornos de Vizcaya), Bilbao Exhibition Centre S.A es la empresa. Una cosa es el Puerto de Santurtzi y otra cosa es el Puerto Exterior del Abra, Puerto de Bilbao es la "Concesionaria". Es el Aeropuerto de Loiu, ubicado en la Localidad de Loiu-Lujua, Txorierri. Metro Bilbao es la "Concesionaria", utiliza parte del antiguo trazado del tren de ET/FV.

relax everyone, I'm sure it's just a firmware update away from working good, I have heard many people talk about this issue, one person said if you turn the camera on in video mode it creates problems, most people say if you turn the camera off and on it works good again, I am sure that Tamron is working on this problem already, and it will be solved soon, at least I hope so, this lens had a real buzz going about it, so it's a shame that this happened, I can't believe that this wasn't discovered before the big release of Tamrons first E mount FF zoom

Hi mayank, it seems to work much better if you start the camera in photo mode. Is you start the camera in video mode, the issues appear. Starting in photo mode and then switching to video mode seems to be safer also.

I have the same issue, I'm waiting for my local camera store to hear back from their Tamron Rep. I am starting to wonder if this lens is not intended to work in Continuous Auto Focus when focus is not engaged by finger. I have heard this is true with some 3rd part lenses. This lens shines for stills with its range and Low Light 2.8 Aperture. Obviously not the best for video until further notice.
