i'll miss Tochinoshin ... love his style of sumo
@aa-ig2lj7 ай бұрын
He looked as if he was smiling when he lost in the replay. Did he not care? Or mabey did he take a pay off and let him win? Because he usually doesn't sumo wrestle like that.

Kakuryu, like a true Yokozuna, still went right for the belt against this man.

Still so odd that these two monsters are no longer active wrestlers.

0:36 flag on the play: false start, 5 yard penalty, offense, still third down.

It's incredible that Tochinoshin, which was a legend of this sport, could beat Hakuho only one time in 28 matches. Hakuho is really the best of all times. Only Asashoryu could beat him 15 times in 29 matches. All the others had nightmares before facing him.

Hakuho is a good guy, always there to help the other guy when their promotion is on the line, of course if the yusho is not on the line for him, he even “lost” to kotoshogiku a couple of times so he gets his ozeki promotion

May sumo belt has 3 or 4 layers. Kakuryo didn't cheat. Tochinoshin's mistake is he had handled only outer one layer and pulled him. Spiritual warrior attacks when want to win. True warrior attacks when a real opportunity arises.

Is there any particular reason for the audience to throw those red cushions after the bout aside from just excitement?
@JB-mt8lt Жыл бұрын
It has a strong meaning of blessing to the winner. The match was so important that red cushions were thrown around.
