Thank you, Lynette, this was most helpful. Don’t laugh at my first attempt. This is 24 ga and probably because it’s a simple design it worked fine. 24 gauge because they are large and I’m going to enamel them.

Why not lubricate the sheet metal? Large stampings of car body parts are always lubricated. I wonder if it would help?

The end just cuts off... this is a hard one to press. Lots of annealing, lots of paper and aluminum force to get some details.
