Thanks! The beat buddy is awesome! it took me a little bit to get comfortable enough with it too play live shows with it, but once I got it down it made playing a lot more fun. I haven’t even scratched the surface with the beat buddy manager to make my own beats on it, but the beats that come on it and a few others that I have bought are all really good.

How did you separate the actual guitar sound and vocals?

@@dacotacraft6156 I actually didn’t, I just had one condenser mic in the room and I played close to the microphone and had the beatbuddy drums coming through a speaker in the room a little further away. I tried to place the microphone higher up and closer to my face so it would hopefully catch the vocals louder than the guitar.

@@alanaustin5371 I feel like the original would be pretty hard to beat but I really appreciate the kind words! When I play it live now I use a subtle brushes drum beat along with the song using the beat-buddy drum pedal.

@@AidenBudd-d9kE -> C -> G -> D ddudu x2 strumming pattern. When you sing open the gate play it with the C cord and follow the same progression but it starts with C and ends with E
