@@barryrose4091 i ran into something with these forks(my first time doing this set) as they had 4 spring spacers at the bottom of the forks and they were a bugger to get back in, as they kept landing sideways and not seating at the bottom of the lug. Thankfully found a long magnet pickup tool to use which worked well.

So I've never seen that before myself sounds like somebody's way of making the spring taller / stiffer that's new to me and I've done at least 100 fork rebuilds

Holy crap, you almost made me remove my whole front cowl. This is totally wrong if you just need to replace the bulb. You just have to remove the mirrors, the windscreen and the screw underneath that rubber gromet and then you can remove the glass of the third eye and replace the bulb

The intention of this video was only to prove that the bulb was replaceable without buying the entire assembly . not on how to replace it. Sry for the misunderstanding bub.

@@barryrose4091 Yes i know. But you said that you have to remove the whole front cowl to replace the bulb. And it almost made me doing it too 😂 Thankfully i did some further research

@@barryrose4091 I guess if you have a blue one you do unless that cop was bored or something lol I got pulled over last week cause of the blue and I have bkmoto headlights to with led strips in them and there red he had something to say about them to lol

I know this video is nearly 4 years old now, but I have had the same issue with my R6. If you search for a "194" bulb at any auto parts store, you can find it. The "CLR" part may have been for a specific brand. They come in a variety of colors, which is kinda neat, if that's what you're into! Tiny bulb, lots of trouble! Replace with an LED, it will last longer.

Yeah I agree if you wanna re-wire for a led set up it best bet. For the quick fix for 94c aint to shabby.

Clr is for clear. Red bulb is 194r, blue bulb 194b, and so on. Just a little fyi. I gotta 07, just replaced whole assembly w 12 led one. LOVE IT! keep it real, much love to yammy fam!

you wouldnt need to rewire for led bulbs, just buy a some off ebay and put it in. led's have a certain polarity so it will only work one way though

It has to be in accessories on the ignition switch . 1 turn before on.

I have a YZF-R6 2016 60 Anniversay Edition. When I received it, I noticed the "LED Upper Head Front Pilot Running Light" lens is broken. I contacted the Yamaha Dealership, guess what? They said the exact same thing on this video" Oh have the buy the whole assembly kit or whatever. My question is would a 2008-2015 Upper Head Front Pilot Running fit in a 2016? I really appreciate your help. I see 2008-2015 pilot running light but not for 2016 on Ebay.
