Malaysian Malays have a similar dish called gulai siput sedut (sucked snails coconut stew) in except no kangkung. For flavouring, we also add tumeric, lemongrass, a souring dried fruit (asam gelugur), wild pepper leaf, Vietnamese mint.

Sorry but you are wrong when you say muslim dishes. Because if they are muslim dishes, why is it that the muslims in Dubai and all parts of the world dont have tiyula itum, pyanggang etc. The dishes in the video are mixed tausug, subanen etc. Theyre all derived from tribes and not religion. And please read the title "MUST TRY TOP TEN FLAVORS OF ZAMBOANGA" i know so as a Zamboangeno who have lived 35 years and have been suggesting visitors what to eat.

After more than 4 years of absence from my beloved Zamboanga, Satti was my first priority to eat, during the 70s and 80s Satti has tomatoes with the sauce, but due to its perishable nature ut was removed, but anyway it is still my number 1 dish, bagon gata is also delicious with manggang hilaw,yummy

Hi, this is Frank. I can tell you, I have some muslim work associates from various countries. Some of them are very nice and honest people. But there’s also some whom I wouldn’t place any trust in. But that’s the way it is with all cultures. I would not feel safe in many areas of the middle east arab world, but I would feel equally unsafe in certain areas of any american cities like Chicago, LA, NY, Houston, Miami, etc.
