Was lucky enough to see TDV play a few times at Tin Tins in Birmingham 1995/96. Every time I get in the car, one of his CD’s is on straight away. A 30 year legacy of tunes/memories for this old raver. 🎉

@@Pluginz 100% in agreement mate. Raved all over the UK for 25 years but Tin Tins ‘95 - ‘97 was and is unbeatable. Would love to see footage/photos from inside. Will have to make do with what’s remained in my head instead! I was there the week or so before it closed and they only opened upstairs and there was about 40/50 people there. Weirdly it was still a great night! I prefer to remember when it was rammed, particularly when Hype downstairs was on. Crazy nights.

Hey thanx man ! Really nice comment, thank you too ! Sorry for the slow reply. I put quite alot of effort into this one, to make it sound about the best it could be. Considering its a tape. Plus it was used alot ! The whole tape was gutted and taken apart. I swapped out the old inserts and used a new pressure pad. Spent some time adjusting the tape head azimuth to get the best sound from my old 1989 Stereo. I was starting to lose faith. Not many say thanx. You did tho and appreciated ! Top man. Enjoy bud 🙂

@@Pluginz no probs. You went to so much effort to get this uploaded by the sounds of it - kids today don't realise what is was like in the old tape days, with the wear and tear from frequent use. Overall it sounds great considering it's remastered from a tape! Well done for salvaging it! Might have to dig out a couple of my old early 90s tapes and have a go myself!

I lived in London from 1996 to 2003 on my Oe and got into the scene over there. Tony was my favourite DJ by far. Only saw him a few times live but well worth it. His mixing and crowd reading were exceptional. Alot of DJs around now have no idea how to mix etc for a live set. I still play around here and there love the music, great memories indeed 😁

Maybe 2017 was the last time i went out clubbing. Massive Festival like. I dont think i could handle it these days. Too hectic haha. I can imagine id need to be quite near a toilet if i go out drinking now. After like a couple of beers its every 5 minutes hehe. A festival with shitty toilets like 200metres away. I couldnt do that anymore. Sorry for the slightly detailed info on my bladder and bowel status after a few drinks !

@@ponyboycurtis3795 Haha thats brilliant thank you 👍 The memories you just flashed me back to is wild ! I had a Mk1 Astra in 1992. It was 4 of us hehe packed into my Astra. I'd only just passed my test. Good driver tho. Raced RC cars from 8 🙂 Two of my school friends and an older brother. Where i lived in the Midlands, near Bewdley, we found a few raves in a couple of fields. There was a lorry in the field we entered, dodgy looking geezers everywhere with hand held radios communicating. Didnt have to pay fuck all to get in. As we drove into the field and parked up, this lorry had the side curtains fully slid open. On the flat bed part of the lorry, there was about 10 massive speakers and then all of a sudden the music started blasting the fuck from the lorry ! I was wrecked. We got home safe. I remember that ! Learning to drive whilst also learning the rave scene was an experience i'll never forget haha Safe 🙂
