O by the way a coincidence today I paid for hop up special. Are hot rod drags has lost its charm. It’s now more of a drag event with a hot rod car show. But there was a secret drag meet at an old air strip near Northampton this year. Cheers.

Been 24 years since my dad passed, but during the day that don't go by that I don't remember him playing with his old hot rod 1930 ford pickup truck he built up during the 1950s when he was in his twenties and fresh out of the Navy on 56th and I'm a lucky man to have that time capsule right down to the old flat head the three-speed transmission all the original stainless steel and chrome pieces in a faded mint green paint job to the White tuck and roll interior she still runs strong and still plays

My daughters and I drove up to Oxford in the mid 90's. We were the only spectators, there were about 10 race cars and the grass was not cut. I am so glad that it has been improved and is holding such great events.
