I love the SV TWS tatulas, especially for skipping jigs and chatterbaits. I have a few 200 K Curados I use for braid (frogging, flipping/punching, etc). Definitely can’t go wrong with Shimano or Daiwa but I do think the Shimanos have better bearings where the braking system is superior in the Daiwas.

Is it worth spending the crazy price tag on the mag draft? I was fishing other 6 inch soft plastics but worry it bay not produce during summer. Worth the money?
@RLFFishing12 күн бұрын
To me, the magdraft freestyle is definitely worth it because I have caught multiple 7+ fish on it. I’m sure it’s not the only one and you could do the same with a different 6” swim baits. I also use mend-it to save torn up baits to make it a little easier on the wallet. I also like the reaction innovations Big Dipper which is a little gentler on the wallet for a larger pack of baits.

Curious if you ever fish the James near the mouth of the Chick? I kayak out of Jamestown Beach and am having a hard time figuring out where to go. Used to reservoirs over tidal rivers.
@RLFFishing12 күн бұрын
I fish the Chick a lot, usually launching out of the riverfront park. If I was going to take a kayak out there, I’d head away from the main river and stay in the creeks with deep water (use navionics website if you don’t have good charts). You can also launch out of Morris creeek, Brickyard landing, and Rockahock campground (Ed Allen’s to fish the lake). Fish the outside grass/pad lines on the falling tide and up shallow on the incoming.
