Hi What aspects did you consider when mounting the offset red dot to the front of the main red dot?
@ipsc-guru9 күн бұрын
2 most important ones for me are: hard leans around barricades and near targets where I have to tilt the PCC up high to engage the target(s)

Just found this. Can you explain more what you are trying to achieve and how? Drill 1 : "attack targets" and Drill 2 "shoot into position" I have no idea what the difference is just looking at the video. And I assume Drill 6: "SHO" is just shooting with one hand. I admit that I just found this and will go back to your other videos. At fist look I don't know the details of this. I want to improve and I am fortunate to have an opportunity to have access to space to set up my own courses and try things. I have a set of drills I made for myself for when I am at my indoor range and I can't move and shoot. Now that I have the space I want to figure out drills that I can do to help me improve.
@ipsc-guru2 ай бұрын
Hi there, no problem. "Attack targets" are open and relatively easy targets up to max. 15 meters, on which you can get a fast "Acceptable Sight Picture". Explained more in detail in the video "How to improve your flow 1". In drill 1 the targets are placed at 15m. The objective is to acquire a fast ASP, transitions and splits to get 2 alpha's in each target. In drill 2 the objective is to get into position as fast as possible with you gun up on target just before the barricade, so you can start to engage as soon as it is actually visible. The drill with the SHO is intended to shoot the targets on the box whilst moving relativeliy fast and from the low angled position. Drills in general are intended to improve technique and self confidence/trust. Enjoy!

Is this for PCC open IPSC or PCC USPSA ?
@ipsc-guru5 ай бұрын
IPSC
@Johnsormani5 ай бұрын
I think one of the bigger differences is also that in IPSC you will never see Virginia count stages ( fixed time, fixed rounds) but in uspsa you can have these stages ( especially in classifiers). When I started shooting ipsc in 1991 that was still very common in IPSC as well ( just as having shooting boxes, non see through walls etc
@ipsc-guru5 ай бұрын
Correct, that's also a difference between both. Thanks for sharing!

Very good drills, thanks for showing them. Great gun too, I have the same and a BULLESTEROS, both fantastic guns. One question though, why are there block patches on each of the targets? Are you using these as reference points whilst training?? Thank you.
@ipsc-guru5 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for your feedback. Only in "technique mode" we use the black patches as visual points of aim. I learned this from Ben Stoeger's videos.

Is this an actual competition? It looks like they’re practicing in a storage locker. Why is all that crap in the way? I have never seen a shooting range that looks so cluttered. I usually see clear open ranges. Is there some specific skill that is being trained on?
@ipsc-guru5 ай бұрын
Hi there, thanks for your comment. Yes, this footage is from an IPSC Level 1 match. I'm from Belgium. This is the 15mx8m range, that is also used by other practical and action shoot disciplines. Level 2 matches are organized on the 25mx11m range, where there is no "clutter". It's small and stacked, and yes, it's not perfect, but manageable. We're very greatful that the range management gives us the opportunity to train multiple times per week!

Hello how is your primer express still running?
@ipsc-guru6 ай бұрын
Good morning, yep, the PE is still running smoothly with some minor mods: added electrical strips to slightly reduce and curve the different tray sections, added slick tape beneath the funnel so the initial primer dump moves more quickly/smoothly, slightly dremeled the slot from the tray to the feeding ramp and finally smoothened the feeding ramp. Be aware, M7 is working on a collated and servo motor driven priming system for the A10.
@steelchallengepractice6 ай бұрын
Ok, cool, I just bought a manual Apex 10, and I am just getting it running. So soon I will wish to start up grading the primers automatically and late the autodrive. So on the primers you say wait for the new server motor primer feeder? Thx for the reply
@ipsc-guru6 ай бұрын
@@steelchallengepractice Good strategy! First get to know the press, tweak it to your liking and then upgrade step by step. Yes, I recommend to hold off on the PE and wait for the new priming system. Happy reloading ;-)

Hey! I’m really interested in IPSC. But due to the gun rules in my country, I have to shift to Airsoft. To make it worse, I am not receiving any update from my regional director for IPSC. Upon further investigation, I found out that my country has no contribution in IPSC and just has a nominal contribution to the sport. In this case, I need some help understanding and getting started with the sport and would appreciate if you could help me with information. I am from India.
@ipsc-guru6 ай бұрын
Hi there, that's a very complicated question. Since I'm unfamiliar with your region, country, laws and regulations, I don't think I'm the best or qualified person to give you advice in this matter.

@@ipsc-guru I understand. But just this one question: is it possible to participate in competitions without representing any clubs or our country federation?
@ipsc-guru6 ай бұрын
@@aamirnagaria2189 I don't know of anyone that participates in IPSC competitions that is not part of an official IPSC region or club. I suggest you ask IPSC HQ directly for guidance and the correct answer.
