I'm a drummer but I really do not like drum solos... does that make sense? For example of course I LOVE a great guitar solo within the context of the song. And I love a great drum "break" for a bar or a couple within the context of the song. I do not care for the arena drum solo. for the most part it serves the part of nothing... by nothing I mean the ego of the drummer maybe, and also more importantly a break for the rest of the band. But the very best drum solos include the band keeping time and providing rythm. Think of Sulli and Godsmack... that is the shit. The whole band is involved and it is like an orchestral peice.

Me and a friend sat outside at the nearest bus stop outside Mount Smart Stadium, as unfortunetly we havent been financial enough this time round to see them, and although it wasnt the same as being inside the stadium you could still hear them as it was LOUD and the crowd was awesome too.
