I am part of the early 90s sf2 era in Australia, and recently got back into it, and i have been going crazy trying to find out exactly the sticks we had because i remember how awesome they were. I have a madcatz t2 and it feels so sloppy and crap, so I finally out it was MCA sticks! I agree with everything you said. I currently ordered a Seimitsu LS-38-01 because it seems the closest style i can find, its very stiff, and short throw.
