This video is perfect, with the right amount of technical info, explained so even I can understand the points you make. My pool customer had already bought his fire table and burner from you, and I am pleased he did. He knew what he was getting, a quality unit.

What cha going to do with all that left over Fire Glass? :)
@Kman.2 ай бұрын
On a simple PROPANE table pit, does all of that also apply? The "JET"...that's the piece (singular) that have the holes in it & is square shaped, or does that refer to where the FLAMES come out? Are you supposed to keep that single piece UN-covered, & yet you can actually cover all the places where the FLAME comes out & the FLAME finds its way around the rocks?
@geraldhenrickson747224 күн бұрын
Resist the urge to overthink this. This fellow appears to make burners designed with dedicated jet tubes on the top side lending itself to the easy use of aluminum screen as a separator. If you have the average burner with simple holes drilled on top this method MIGHT work is you use stainless screen as a seperator. Perhaps skip the screen altogether.

My fire pit came with this awful looking cobalt blue glass. I replaced it with volcanic obsidian. Each stone is half an inch to an inch, and it looks so much better. instantly makes it look like a more expensive table instead of cheap crap.

Interested but looks like they will burn a ton of more fuel on average use compared traditional setups to achieve larger flames
@Montanafirepits4 ай бұрын
They actually use half as much fuel as traditional stainless steel burners to produce the same flame height. The jets mix oxygen with fuel to achieve a better burn rate. To get larger flames (twice as tall), you use about the same amount of fuel as you would with a conventional burner.

We’re installing a propane fire pit on top of this big circle paver patio we built with some seat walls. It’s awesome but I got a little overzealous and offered to make all the connections(burner table, air mixer, 12ft flex line etc) BUT in the kitchen we ordered there is also the key valve AND a push button ignition face plate. I’ve never connected all that and apparently my company doesn’t touch even propane gas connections. We make them pay a plumber to do that part. So basically I over promised. Now I’m gonna do the connections because I sold it that way. I don’t know. Any idea on how to connect the ignition plate? Is there supposed to be another smaller gas line involved BESIDES the long flex line?THANK YOU 🙏

Are these videos showcasing propane with high pressure, or natural gas? Trying to figure out this detail
@Montanafirepits5 ай бұрын
You will get similar results with either natural gas or propane. Pressure for both is low, at about 7" water column for NG, and 11" water column for LP. If you're able to run a natural gas line, that's ideal. If not, propane is great. Here are more details: montanafirepits.com/learn/#fuel

Thank you. How do these Cross Fire burners compare to the standard stainless steel manifolds that just have the flames coming straight out of the drilled holes?

We have a rectangular fire pit with a burner set similar to what u offer. We don’t cover it but now the gas does not flow & can’t light. Could water have filled up the piping? If so how do u blow that out? None of the videos I’ve watched talk about this? Are we missing something?
@Montanafirepits8 ай бұрын
If enough water accumulates in your gas line, it can keep the gas from flowing. You may need to use an air compressor on the end of the line opposite of the burner to push the water through. It might be best to consult a plumber.

I'm trying to extend the wires. I ran 12guage wire ( because that's all I had on hand) Under the fire pit in pvc pipe I Spliced the ignition wire with the 12 guage wires. I have two problems 1, when I connect the clips to ignition box I don't hear the clicking sound 2 I don't see a current or spark on the prongs But I do feel a low current if I touch the ring? There's current but no spark?
