But, where was she for four days. Just because she wasn't chipped doesn't mean she wasn't someones dog that just went on walk about. She looked well fed when she showed up. I hope you didn't steal someones dog. There are so many homeless dogs. I hope she finds her lost person.

@@OWK000 it’s pretty clear from the situation that if she had a person, they did not know how to care for her properly.
@OWK000
@OWK000 Күн бұрын
@@inspired2rv661 No it's not really. Dogs can go missing sometimes especially when people are out camping. You can't steal someone's dog just because their dog took a run one day. The dog came to her camp really well fed and had been gone for days and only visited once before. If I dog has been out running they are going to be very thirsty especially in dry regions. I don't like chipping because of autoimmune issues, but tags with phone #'s or those customizable embroidered collars are also helpful, but sometimes people don't figure that out until it's too late. You don't really know the dogs situation: it is delicate ground because MAYBE the dog did need rescuing, or maybe someone else was rescuing the dog already with more of an eye to adopt themselves, or maybe the dog was back with his people. Too many unknowns. Dog rescuers can get so high and mighty and judgemental and it's really not fair.

Update 12-28-24 I’m happy to report She is doing much better this week! The handlers are working with her every day. They’ve determined she must’ve had extreme shelter shock. Her behavior is improving and they are confident she’ll find a home within a reasonable amount of time. I’m keeping an eye on their Facebook page watching for her spotlight 🙏🏻💕✨ They do a fantastic job matching dogs to owners.

@@serenanowakowski4914 like I mentioned in the video it’s always a good idea to just cut one first and try it, but I have never had any fray. Right after I cut them, there’s a few little pieces of fiber that might fall on the carpet for the day, but those are just the fibers that got cut.I have socks that I’ve washed many times over and they’re still perfect and they don’t cut off my blood circulation.🤣

@@jkidthunder1990 I appreciate you taking an interest in Updates. I’m going to call once a week. The staff is really busy, the kennels are overcrowded, and I don’t wanna waste their time calling them every day and with the holiday I’m just giving her some time to get acclimated. I’ve rescued many dogs over the years when I lived in a house and it was easier to keep them, never had to surrender a dog before. Circumstances in my life, made it the best option for all. I hope you never have to be in that situation, it really sucked. I do have a lot of faith in the staff, though. The reality is the kennels and rescues are full. They just don’t have the space or the resources to take all the seemingly unwanted pets. Humanity is not being responsible. We all are experiencing the consequences of that. She has to learn to chill out and behave and trust the staff to help her become adoptable. It’s up to her now. 🙏🏻✨💕 I’ll check in on her again after Christmas and post an update here.

@@cinziam457 yes, I was devastated when she disappeared the first time. Then when she showed up again, it was the worst timing ever.🤣 but what can you do? Sometimes I wonder if I would’ve been better off just leaving her here to fend for herself, but I couldn’t do it. Considering all things, she’s miserable in the kennel and she would be unsafe out in the wild. I wish I could’ve given her a home at least temporarily, but I couldn’t risk her injuring Daisy. Life can be crazy sometimes.

@@bkk7705 I would’ve loved to have kept her, if she hadn’t been aggressive towards my sweet angel dog that I rescued two years ago. She comes first. I worked tirelessly to help her get along with my dog, but she just refused to relax around her. It’s unfortunate. She has the capacity to be loving and sweet, I witnessed it firsthand, but she is threatened by some dogs in certain situations, and some people even cause her to feel threatened, and she overreacts with aggressive behavior. If this is not worked out out of her, she may be doomed. Her fate is in her paws.

Update 🐶 12-18-24 I called to check on her again today. she has been renamed “Chocolate”🤣 and she is available for adoption. They haven’t been able to spay her yet because she’s still afraid of her surroundings, however, the staff has moved her to the quietest part of the kennel, and she’s being overseen by the most experienced of the trainers. They are confident she will feel better soon. I’ll check back in with them next week. Really hoping that she starts to feel safe and trusting again. I asked if I could come down and help them, but it’s against company policy due to insurance.

Im in Sweden, ive always had pitbulls and irish staffordshires. I have a Pb that is not dog friendly, imported him since he was to be euthanized, former gamedog. Anyway, when he trusts a dog or cat he loves them and would do anything for them but they must be in his pack. I can import her if she cant find a home, she looks so much like my old Irish Staff. I know some states wont allow them to leave the state.
