My dad CJ worked with Leonard at Omni Electronics in 1982. I was about nine years old and a budding audio enthusiast. My parents and I spent a mind-blowing evening at Leonard's house. I saw his record room and his music room, which I still have pictures of. We watched Clash of the Titans on his big screen TV. Who had a big screen TV in 1982?? I loved talking to him at Omni, and I had cassette copies of his Charleston Symphony recordings. Now I teach music technology. My limited encounters with Leonard were pretty important to me. This video made my day.

Only recently became aware of this book ! I have owned Bassets for 40 years, and I [ now ] live in Charleston SC. I am well acquainted with the Cathedral of St John The Baptist, being a Catholic. My son was also Baptized there in 1993 !!! Though " The Bishop " was un -named in the book, I am told by senior parishioners that that he was Bishop Reh, and was sent to Rome for the Second Vatican Council, leaving his beloved dog. Does anyone recall the name of the dog, that I would presume stayed with the incoming Bishop ???
