Its unfortunate that neither of the commentators called the push to restrict early voting what it is - voter suppression. Arizona should not look to imitate what a state like Florida is doing when it comes to voting. One can easily imagine long lines and voters being turned away amid lengthy Election Day lines if the state adopts the bad policies being sanewashed in this piece. "Election Integrity" is just a MAGA slogan to undermine trust in elections MAGA lost (which is the real reason that "Election Integrity" wasn't an issue after MAGA won the 2024 elections). What substantive difference is there in having election results on election night versus waiting a few days by allowing more early ballots to be counted? "The Show" should push back on that, even if just as a Devil's Advocate (rather than supporting innuendos about California still counting ballots - so they're still being counted in CA. So what? Getting wider voter participation in AZ elections is a net good for the general public - efforts should be made at making voting easier rather than harder).

I would like to know where the white guy the cop was talking to went to. He is the person the store call the cops on. This guy saw an opportunity to get the cops to beat an innocent man while he got away. That white man knew the cops would believe him when he said he was assaulted by that black man….and they did with no proof necessary. Throughout my 36 years on this planet, and 19 years driving, I have never, NEVER encountered a bad cop. Some may have been short and very talkative, but every officer I've ever encountered has been respectful and diplomatic. One officer even drove back to his precinct to get a few road flares that he would later set beside my car, as it had broken down late at night one night on the side of an old country road. I was coming home from my second shift job. That cops was awesome...but I wasn't surprised. All that said, please people, don't let these 2 violent thugs who happen to be police officers, please don't let their actions help you stereotype all cops everywhere. I truly believe there are *_way_* more good cops than bad, I do.
