Lockdown was good for me as a gardening consumer. Gardening has gone from 'cottage' style cuttings and saved seeds from neighbours grown in soil and leafmould to a conspicuous consumption extension of motoring. Garden centres showed no interest in those who have no car boot to stuff full. In fact they situated their premises out of reach of potential customers who don't have a car; out of town, not on a bus route and usually on a fast country road with no footpath. Why was it good? GCs got their finger out and got a web presence together and moreover home delivery. I got umpteen bags of peat-free media delivered, whereas previously had to take as many trips with a rucksack on the bus to Block & Quayle's on a day ticket as possible. GCs have bemoaned online competition for over two decades. Mail order vendors emerged in the 1700s, it's not like 300 years wasn't sufficient time to adapt. BUT, as soon as they were allowed customers in again they closed their e-commerce. The industry needs to consider non-drivers, those of advanced age giving up driving and that many young city dwellers won't take up driving because it's more hassle, cost, time-draining and stress than it's worth. One can tell the presenter is a motorist, they never even considered non-motorists.

Where can consumers get ICL Pro products eg media such as Levington Advance and Fibagro Advance as well as pro fertilisers, prilled compounds, Osmocote Pro, Agroblen, Agromaster, Scotts Universol, Calmag (for peat free & soft water) etc?
