Yes it is very much still viable and is still my main build. Fortifying perforate was nerfed but still the best fortify weapon perk in the game .

Yeah, these clips are post debuff. This build works good for fighting on the front line, objective, in any clump setting.

I will test if that is true about bleedletting on a ring and report back

Shirking heals isn't very good with a heavy build with the dodge nerf and I don't understand what you mean by "any ward cost less on tp".

With the nerf to the heavy dodge roll and how often you can proc shirking heals (I believe its every 7 seconds), it's not the best in slot perk. I would rank it a C tier perk for HEAVY.

You have to have player discipline to not get kited in any build. That is a good point though 👌

Yes sir, also I have about 10 peices of armor I could use in place of what I have to be more tanky and I have this build but strike conditioning and strike gems, and the same for slash and ice incase I have a 1v1 against other damage types.

Yes for sure you can't block to much more with a round over like a spear but the round shield is the dps of shields. The kite and tower are more defensive and have much better block stamina. In other words you would lose dps with other shield types BUT you would gain more survivability with a kite or tower sheild. I actually used a azoth inductor to make a kite shield to try it out but I didn't like it and went back to round.

@@NobleDuelist I run Michael and it seems like a good mix of defense and offense, the counterattack perk pairs nicely with jaspers. Obviously the downside is that you'd drop darkplate and it's probably not worth, but it is a fun playstyle.

Hearty could be a better perk on this build depending on how they change stamina. If that happens I will update the build.

Using one stamina gem could be beneficial but as of now I would run the thrust and fire runeglass.

200% not 50, but you get diminishing returns with higher armour, personally prefer running leeching cyclone on wep and perf on armour because 30% fortify on top of 3k armour is more than enough, you want to reduce damage via other sources like weaken and ABS as well, stack fortify alone will not be worth

I have enfeebling skewer on my boots to weaken enemies. The reason fortifying perforate on your weapon is the best choice and just overall better is because the extra 75% armor works against any enemy that attacks you, enfeebling skewer usually only hits one person and in a clump that's not helping much, leeching cyclone works best with alot of people around you to hit with the cyclone and in the situation your probably getting heals anyway.

​@@NobleDuelist fortifying perforate is getting nerfed next balancing patch, not sure by how much but wouldnt be suprised if it went from 75% to like 45% or something, and you cant always guarantee all 3 hits will connect, i'd probably get used to running it on armour now and swap to either cyclone or skewer on weapon, both are viable imo, cyclone for sustain since its 65% lifesteal on cyclone hits, and skewer obviously for more weaken, fortifying perforate is still good on weapon but when you have so many fortifying sources like shirking fort, fortifying toast, etc, you get diminishing returns very quickly and its easier to mitigate damage with something like running conditionings on armour (which you have which is great) or more sources of weaken since it works wonders on builds with a lot of empower such as greatsword oh and it gets removed by nullifying oblivion, so pretty useless in clumps with vg/ig, and gets removed when you swap to your sns, both skewer/cyclone benefit you even with vg/ig nearby or swapping weps

My stoneform is 625 and it does everything I need it to. No, if I'm understanding the second question correctly, no it will not make your character do more damage from the increase in gs.

did you go through the skill trees? did i miss it?

For the survivability increase you get, I'd say no. In OPR, fighting on point or in any pvp clump situation it's the way to go.

@@NobleDuelist i mainly focus on arena. I used to play heavy armor SNS spear but have swapped to medium after the patch. HOw have you faired in arena?

Honestly not any different than season 4, the build still feel really good. The biggest problem tbh is alot of my fights end up with them running away and me struggling to catch up with them.

Even for wars, most players are running heavy armor for spear players. The damage decrease is so minimal compared to the survivability it brings. You do 0 damage when you're dead.
