This was the black alumized steel cat back. Wouldn’t recommend it though as it rusted out at the cat. I now have the true all stainless steel version, and no issues.

This was the best metal related presentation I've ever seen. Every time some of tried to do anything like this, it's so cringey. From really bad screams to an condescending elitist attitude for a subject no one else in the room cares about, I've about seen it all on youtube lol. This guy was composed, engaging, and informative to people who don't know about the subject, rather than trying and failing to make them feel idiots, props my guy

0:20 he said death formed death metal but it was possessed, he should not be up there

It really doesn´t take talent. It´s just a technic, that any idiot can learn. It doesn´t need any creativity to scream and growl words over a metal backing track. It doesn´t express anything but maybe the ego of the "artist". To write a good melody and to express different moods and emotions with a voice, that´s what needs talent! And the ability to do so, that´s what can be called art. Nowadays "extreme metal" is plain bullshit.

are you 50 years old and complain about modern guitar "not having feeling anymore" too? there are so many extreme metal songs that express many emotions

Awesome presentation man. You did a great job. Thanks for the tip about tongue placement. I always had trouble with making a decent sounding death growl but once you mentioned that I started practicing and it all came together.

I've been traumatized for lack of a better word into not sharing the kind of music I'm into (which is the heavy music like in this video) because of past experiences with people mocking me or physically recoiling when I played my favorite music around them so good on you for getting up and doing this in public and putting it on KZbin. There's definitely a stigma around our favorite music and I'm glad that you dispelled a little bit of that stigma doing this speech.
