Do you spray your silicone into your cups?

Not always, if I am doing the swipe technique, I will put silicone in only a few colors depending on what colors I want cells in. If you do use silicone, stir slightly for large cells and stir more for smaller cells.

These turned out beautiful! I have played with doing 2 different pour flags for a friend. I like the blue field going all down the side instead of in a square in the top corner ( which is what I have been doing). I think I will try one this way so my friend has a couple different options. Thanks for help and idea!

Thanks Vicky. I tried a couple different swipe colors like black and white, I liked blue the best. I also have done other flags -- not all of them work as well as the US flag.

Ingredients: Acrylic paint in red, white, blue, in separate small plastic cups, add a little Elmers Glue-All thinned with water, a little Floetrol, and water, 1 spray of silicone in white and red only - mix lightly. Thin blue with a lot of water no silicone.

I would like to try this but need instruction on how much water & glue to add to paint. Also, what is silicone used for & what is foretrol?

@@strajearocks11 floetrol is a paint conditioner. Silicone is what makes the cells.
