Absolutely a beautiful job on the tank, my friend. I just ordered mine from Motion RC. You inspired me!

I wish there was a middle ground between the $40 plastic crap and several thousands of dollars for an RC toy. I just want something that I feel fine letting a kid play with, but as someone who drives these trucks, I also want one that looks good on a shelf in the mean time. If only Axial made a decent tractor trailer for $150-$200, that'd be perfect...

This is an old video and anyone watching should know these problems have been addressed in firmware updates. If you have this radio, you can easily download the updates. Also, no offense to Oliver but most of these issues can be attributed to user error or inexperience with a computer radio of this design. Overall, great radio for the price. I've heard of others complaining about this radio (range and battery life being the biggest ones) but mine has run virtually problem free. It can be a steep learning curve for sure (wouldn't recommend it to beginners) but there are many videos out on this radio including several from Radiolink. And, while their customer service can be crap at times, they've made a much better effort to be responsive to customer questions or complaints (make sure to subscribe to Radiolink's KZbin page!). Considering the hundreds of dollars I saved over a radio like the Sanwa M17 or Futaba 10 PX/PXR (I'm a bit of a Futaba fan boy), I'm pretty happy with my RC8X. I would caution beginners but once you master this radio, you'll love it!
@oliverstoys84115 ай бұрын
@@jerryvolpini7987 you are right this is definitely a old video, after several new firmware updates this radio did improve minor issue but never up par with mid level radio from sanwa, futaba, and Flysky. RC8x is a ok radio with several setbacks for me, customer service of radiolink is awesome, but the issue is the older internal transmitter/receiver protocol , to be honest barely anyone talking about it, I am happy you like your radio, good for you 👍🏻. Rc community taking about the RadioMaster MT12 less of the blink but more of speed, performances and most important value, I don’t have this radio so I can’t really say much about it.

Sanwa is always world champion in Response. By digital servos you can set the modulation in the bind menu from normal to shr (sanwa high resonse), than it’s faster. And when you have a sanwa ssr able servo, you can set it on ssr (sanwa super Response. That ist the fastest mode you can get. An use digital brushless servos to test it on 7,4V or 8,4V that it’s Zero Delay. There un can see it best. It’s best fun to have servo and response super fast. 100 times better when everything is fast Like your fingers. 1000 times more fun then driving with gyro recivers. All my offroaders are sanwa fhss4 with brushless servo on 7,5V and it’s super fun. Some are sanwa srg servos. This is the old ssr series. The new are in the pgs line with ssr. On the metal parts i added flat clear coat (hardware rattle spray can) to protect to paint from scratches, after that you can still add more panel line if you want to get more detail on that section.
