I’m not a fan of what your sport does, and the risks you guys take and the things you put yourself at risk and your horse at risk for, you could simply just choose a different route to keep your horse out of harms way. Your horse could easily break a leg or worse if anything goes wrong with jumping ditches and so on, it not right what some people do to their horses, I’ve only ever seen the bad side of hunters and the things they make their horse go through is just terrible.. would never want to do this honestly.. but your eq is awesome and your not heavily relying on the bit.

this is not a sport, sports have a goal and skills to battle for....this is people with horses to much money and self entitlement frolicking through other peoples property and public roads to chase an imaginary fox scent. why not go for a social ride in an area away from ppl and roads and more importatntly foxes! we all know even if you train your hound to hunt certain scents it will always be distracted by a real scent and go off to find it. a drag hunt is just a cover up for what actually happens. there is no point to this even being a thing anymore
