The ironic thing is that the mk3 actually does suck, not as much as this video, but it does suck. Charging it is awkward. It has fat grips but only holds 10 rounds. And then there is the ordeal of field stripping and cleaning. In that regard, it is by far the worst mass produced firearm I've ever had the horror of using. I mean you can't even think about field stripping it without a paperclip and a hammer... Seriously? I absolutely hate my mk3 hunter. Yes it's accurate, and yes it has good ergos, but I can't bring myself to shoot it because I know I'll need to spend 2 hours on YT trying to get this stupid gun apart and back together. The first time I tried cleaning this stupid thing, I actually lost respect for Ruger as a company. This gun sucks, there are better options out there.

Bobby, Nice video. I'm not a gun guy, per se, but an old friend pass and left me his Remington Fieldmaster Mod. 121 22 cal., with soft case. I've never fired it, but it seems to work, and the action is smooth. If nothing else, I'm pretty sure it could use a professional cleaning. My thought is to trade or sell it in favor of a 'home protection' shotgun. The 121 has sentimental value, and my (brilliant) wife thinks I should keep it as a memento to my old buddy, rather then trade or sell. I'm not to crazy about having multiple guns in the house, and I don't really think the Remington 121, 22 cal. would be considered a 'good' home protection weapon. If, on the other hand, you can see some real value (beyond the sentimental) in keeping the 22 ... in addition to ultimately buying a basic shotgun, I'd appreciate and respect your thoughts. Thank you, David
@Gunsandfun196117 күн бұрын
@seacaptaindw That is a tough one...in all my years and I'm 62 I always ended up regretting trading anything...and certainly your rifle if in good working shape is worth $ a lot more than a home defense shotgun. The 121 field master is a joy to shoot and the greatest plinker one could ever have. I would buy a shotgun and keep the Ole Remy in it's soft case until a day comes that you can shoot it. I think that would make your friend smile. I think the last one I saw in good shape was priced over a thousand dollars...shotguns are a dime a dozen....just my humble advice...good luck and thank you for watching.

Got mine from the back of field and steam in the early 80s. I believe it was $9.98, also wisely oppted for extra darts. Those darts are probably still stuck in the tops of trees all over my neighborhood from smacking starlings. Thanks so much for the blast from the past! Wish I still had mine.

I just picked up x4 25 round cartons of this stuff for $24/carton, not bad considering x5 and x10 count boxes of premium Federal or Hornady go for $10 to $20 here in California. Clean ammo with decent patters from 15 to 25 yards.

He did beat them a third time. There was already a bunch of evidence the 2020 election was stolen from him but after this election and 20,000,000 voters disappearing since last election. As well as every year before 2020 being 20,000,000 less voters there's no question the 2020 election was absolutely corrupted and stolen. 🤔✌🏽️💨
