@PPPatrickWWW Yes this will be a good first EDF, those are my first edf too, The F-16 is approx 10% slower than the F-18, but I think this is the motor that is not the same quality as the F-18. In my opinion, the F-16 is easier to fly, slower landing, more stable. But the F-18 is really cool too, both looks like real jet in the air!, Get both! battery really cheep on hobbyking! 5.99$ for 11.1v 1100mah
