I have to undergo this procedure. I have to have 5 of them done. I was in a similar situation as Holly. Except my accident happened in a free falling elevator that malfunctioned and crashed into the basement of a luxury high rise building and filled with water, because the city water main blew up causing like an earthquake in the building. I have tried every treatment option but nothing works. Because the discs now are protruding into my main spinal nerve and have torn through the outer protective shell. All I can do until I have this surgery is take it easy and stay on prescription pain medication. I hope this surgery helps.

Thank you for posting this, Dr. Gordon. I realize it is a seven year old post, but it has been helpful. My ortho missed the sprained ankle diagnoses, resulting in poor healing. It is now acute sprain...1.5 years later. There is an off brand flip flop that holds my heels in place. I have been running around barefoot and fancy free for the last 20 years...after I left the NE. I am paying for that now. I am hesitant about going back to the gym. After 35 to 45 minute elliptical at a pretty slow pace, I was down. I could limp for the rest of the day. That prompted a follow up at year 1..which was when the ortho ordered an MRI and discovered it was a sprain. He downplayed it, but it kept getting worse. Such as pain in the morning..after sleeping. The second ortho put me in a boot 24/7. My gymnastics coach from 40 years ago suggests ultrasound. I refuse pain meds...when I'm 90, hospice can load me up as I travel to heaven but until then, not interested. Also, I frankly don't trust doctors who go to pain meds immediately...they started the oxy opiod crisis ...right along with big pharma. I want to be at the gym. It helps me in so many ways. This is a stir crazy diagnosis too. LOL

This video is old. There has been progress for the last 13 years in terms of understanding Autistic tendencies and more have been diagnosed. On top of him saying Autism in people is a problem. Is it? Many people do not think so. And there have so far not been any case of chemicals that children or mothers being exposed to leading to a person getting autism because of it.
